Agreed but it’s nice to see 2 fighters at peak age in the ring and folk don’t really know the outcome.

It’s great for the sport. Saunders is talented and always has been. But he hasn’t been taking it seriously for years now canelo is a different animal.

But if canelo has an off night and saunders is on a game who knows

Just watching a Matchroom preview show and Dan Rafael has just come on to it. He’s seemingly put on a load of weight over lockdown. He’s always been a big bloke but now he’s looking severely obese

I have to say, Saunders is looking and sounding very confident and I don't think he's faking it. I think that's genuine confidence. That's interesting.

He has absolutely everything against him. Regardless of everything else (judges, ref, crowd, whatever), Canelo is a complete tank. Probably about 70% of the lads that train at the gym I go to are on steroids of some kind, and apart from the Trem honey monsters who can barely move, they don't look anywhere near as unnatural as Alvarez. He has such a weird physique, there's no way I'd look at him in the gym and think he was natty.

I'd never thought I'd say this, but come on Billy Joe Saunders!

f@ck saunders, still boggles my mind that so many are cheering for him, total plonker and has benefitted from home advantage just as much as canelo has, not to mention been matched way softer

Saunders said half of Mexicans don’t like Canelo, and he hopes they support him..

“There’s added pressure coming for both of us for this fight because both of us don’t want to go home the loser. At the end of the day, half the Mexican people like him, half don’t, so hopefully half that don’t like him will be supporting the Gypsy boy, we’ll get it rocking and rolling. This is for all the Gypsies back home, everyone in the UK, plus half the Mexicans, get behind me.”

i do kinda lol at anyone cheering for him just because he's british

he'd prob film himself and his mates spitting in your face and laughing about it if you ran into him alone on the street one day, as if he cares that you're a brit. remember he thinks we're all out to get the gypsies anyway

Plonker. Half Mexicans may not like Canelo , but 99% of the UK doesn’t like him.

cuck kinda comes to mind as a term for bjs supporters, comparable to the type of guy who will smile along and say 'thank you honey' as his wife spits another mans load in his face

i kinda feel sorry for them, it's a bit degrading innit

I remember him and Galahad bullying that old man in Sheffield. Two penises. And MJP screeching in laughter videoing it.

ya, calls rando folk who are just minding their own business pedos, encourages junkies to attack them, then laughs hysterically about it like a retard and posts it publically.

and thats only a very small part of his knobhead resume! it does make me question people a bit when that's the type of fellow they are into

I think you might be overstating things a little with that analogy !!

I like Bill as a boxer and I like the brash confidence he’s displayed this week so I want him to win. I think one can always separate the boxer from the man, plenty of boxers have done cvntish things but are still loved by the fans.

Let’s hope Saunders doesn’t show himself to be the usual shi tbag we all know he is and after pot shotting and moving for 5/6 rounds he feels the pressure building off Canelo patiently just touching him and slowly tightening the screw with the pressure & feet on him over them early rounds and pulls out with a injury ;-) knowing he’s about to get starched and then waffles on about how he was boxing the ears of canelo and If it wasn’t for the injury he would of beat him  let’s hope he lives up to his talk and shows he is a fighting man and has a go and goes out on his shield & takes his hiding like a man, anyone who thinks Saunders stands any chance or it’s a tough fight for canelo knows fuk all about boxing IMO, but hey what do I know, I could be wrong, after all canelo has never been in with anyone like Saunders with the ability, heart, skill, power, pedigree  :OhYes: he’s smart is canelo only facing them the B class fighters like : Mayweather, Cotto, Golovkin, Jacobs, Kirkland, Trout, Lara, Moseley, Vasquez, I could go on all day

 That's harsh, dude! Canelo's a perfumed ponce and has had it all his own way so much I would like to see him lose. It doesn't mean I want to watch BJS smash Mrs. Cyclops!

Because I want Canelo to lose I want my bird to suck off BJS and then snowball me? And then say thanks after?

You're a weird woman, Mrs. Thatcher! You stay you, though.

- All that Gypsy Fighting Man yappin' with that sorry load fecal claiming to be his father backing him up would be an embarrassment in any other culture.

MTK: What say so will they have in the outcome? All the Brit remoaning has focused on Canelo holding all the Aces which smacks of post fight excuses before the first bell.

Great British boxing journalists .. Colin Hart😟

Excluding Froch and Groves, which other British super middles have fought in a fight f this magnitude?

Eh? Isn’t that the point? He’s done nothing (but sit around talking about paedophiles and using class A drugs) to deserve the pay day.

There’s never been a sharper contrast from looking poor against club fighters in front of 400 people at leisure centres one fight to facing the biggest Mexican star since Chavez the next. Completely out of the blue.

Does your brain not fathom that?

He doesn't use class A drugs. I'm sorry, Cog, boxing has moved on since the 90's. This is a truly global event.

As for Groves, he was an active leading contender, doing very well and getting better fight by fight. Wasn’t he IBF mandatory? He was that for a reason.

Hahahahah fornicating hell you didn’t see him and Davison gurning like mad in the middle of the day last summer with the curtains closed? Sniffling and hinting at their usage with Kugan the night before. Bless you.

The world will stop! It’s nowhere near as big as any Chavez fight was in Mexico. Not even remotely close.

What planet do you actually reside on?

JCC pulled in 135k when he went back home to Mexico. It would’ve been 270k if the stadium was twice the size.

And he had more US based viewers on Showtime than Canelo has PPV sells, before there was many subscriptions to Showtime. Though it was usually part of a mega mega bill involving greats like Jackson, Tyson, Norris and Nunn and star up and comers McClellan and Trinidad
