BJS being as classy as ever
Re: BJS being as classy as ever
I think it's good that his sense of humour has remained intact, what with US Customs seizing his suitcase full of whopee cushions, stink bombs and water squirting plastic flowers when he landed.

Surprised BS hasn't attempted the "pull my finger" stunt on Alverez yet ![[icon_knockout.gif] :KO:](./images/smilies/icon_knockout.gif)

Re: BJS being as classy as ever
What I found amusing about it is he said it in the same manner as when he said he respected Canelo. It was as if he didn't say anything bad. I had to watch it twice to make out what he actually said. To be honest, the interviewer probably didn't even notice. As stated above, I think the people who already dislike BJS will dislike whatever he says.GreenLightning wrote: ↑06 May 2021, 13:42Ah come on mate Sacha Baron Cohen has more wit in his ingrownd toenail than BJS ffs , your breath smells of shit to a guy who doesn't speak full English, like really? What exactly is the punchline here? What's the point? What's the joke? There were 12 year old lads in my old school who could have a field day with him verbally, except BJS can't take what he loves to dish out

This is how Saunders rolls, if you ain't used to it by now you're never going to be.
I'm not excusing him at all. He's said some horrible things over the years and doesn't need any help in making himself look like a big old dosser. He surrounds himself with people that think this sort of thing is funny so he plays up to it, but there has to be a bully streak within him to even think it's funny. How many apologies as he had to make
Pea brain.

Sometimes he comes across well and seems reasonable enough. But then with stunts like this he really lets himself down...

Let’s hope we see the last of him in a few hours. Good riddens.

Saunders will start bright, Canelo will bend his ribs a few times and Saunders will get on his bike ala Bellew vs Adonis - hopefully it will end a similar way but Saunders has enough about him to last the distance. The perfect result is Canelo knocking him out of the ring.

It's often the body shots that crumple the nearly men when stepping up to elite level. Hope that's the case.

Don't think i can remember the last time so many people wanted to see a British fighter get a good hiding as BJS tonight. He must be one of the least popular UK fighters of all time.

Yet Eubank Sr was despised most by the type of folk who are fans of Saunders
Re: BJS being as classy as ever
BS is in a league of his own.
If Saunders was anywhere near as famous as Eubank snr, he'd be detested by a nation. Eubank snr "played" the villain but always had supporters too.
Whatever anyone thinks of Eubank snr, he NEVER would have opted out in the same situation as BS did in the biggest fight of his life on the biggest stage.

His cheek bone was broken v Thompson early on at the MEN, eye shut not able to see the big right hands coming (same shots that took out huge men like Rothmann).
Sr was all tongue in cheek anyway. He had class.

Yes Eubank was just playing the pantomime villain. As I recall he just used to say he was the best and boxing was a bad sport etc ...coghaugen11 wrote: ↑09 May 2021, 09:20 His cheek bone was broken v Thompson early on at the MEN, eye shut not able to see the big right hands coming (same shots that took out huge men like Rothmann).

Well of course he didn't notice that's why BJ did it, to make a prick of him, he's a bully, and like a lot of bullies he got a good smack in the eye and went home cryingImpractical Poster wrote: ↑07 May 2021, 23:44What I found amusing about it is he said it in the same manner as when he said he respected Canelo.
