Where does Saunders go from here?
It’s no disgrace losing to Canelo but rightly or wrongly, he’s going to have this defeat hanging over him because of how it ended.
People will forgive Dubois but because Saunders is so decisive I doubt he’ll get any forgiveness.

Never thought of an eye injury, either way it'll do for mebigjack wrote: ↑03 May 2021, 12:13That's how i see it,he then avoids the ko and can always say he would have won if he hadn't hurt his elbow or shoulderPredatorHayds wrote: ↑03 May 2021, 11:11 Canelo to outbox and hurt Saunders from early on.
Saunders to then quit on his stool blaming a dodgy shoulder or hurt hand mid-late rounds.

I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Smith, but I dont think he'd fancy that either to be honest.

I also predicted a hand or shoulder retirement, but this was a legit injury that came closer to the KO than I expected.bigjack wrote: ↑09 May 2021, 00:41Never thought of an eye injury, either way it'll do for mebigjack wrote: ↑03 May 2021, 12:13That's how i see it,he then avoids the ko and can always say he would have won if he hadn't hurt his elbow or shoulderPredatorHayds wrote: ↑03 May 2021, 11:11 Canelo to outbox and hurt Saunders from early on.

Yeah, if Smith's mentally recovered I'd back him to UD Saunders.Nondescript wrote: ↑09 May 2021, 00:42I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Smith, but I dont think he'd fancy that either to be honest.

let’s hope he lives up to his talk and shows he is a fighting man and has a go and goes out on his shield & takes his hiding like a man, anyone who thinks Saunders stands any chance or it’s a tough fight for canelo knows fuk all about boxing IMO, but hey what do I know, I could be wrong, after all canelo has never been in with anyone like Saunders with the ability, heart, skill, power, pedigree

he’s smart is canelo only facing them the B class fighters like : Mayweather, Cotto, Golovkin, Jacobs, Kirkland, Trout, Lara, Moseley, Vasquez,
I could go on all day
Good post. My prediction is that Saunders quits in the fight. He will find some reason to get out of there without getting starched once he realizes he cannot win the fight and the going gets tough. I can see him also hitting Canelo low intentionally at some point. He has heart to an extent and can scramble through fights but ultimately he has the heart of a bully and when he starts getting really proper bullied, I think he will resort to cheating and then quitting. He'd rather quit than give people the satisfaction of seeing him getting KO'd.

He might of got an ounce of respect if he actually went out on his shield. But no, there’s nothing there. Like when you look at his face and in his eyes you don’t see a normal human - you see someone very warped.
Just a vile creature all around. Hopefully that pay off gets him to fornicate off now.

I had to ask myself was I hallucinating? Which was entirely possible. I still had Canelo landing the harder and cleaner shots most rounds, although Billy managed to evade and jab fairly well in spots. Once the connections started getting harder Billy didn’t want to knowNondescript wrote: ↑09 May 2021, 01:20That was some of the worst commentary I think I've ever heard.

What a result. Doubt we’ll be seeing him again. I can’t think of a more unpopular heel of a champ.
