IBO Announcement.

As I am sure most are aware the IBO is now under the governance of the ArmaP4P partnership. With this new agreement, the IBO will be taking steps to improve their recognition amongst the simcommunity. Look out "BIG 4" the IBO is coming for your arse.

1. The IBO will now publish its own top 10 rankings. IBO Champions must defend against those in the top 10. Exceptions may apply to this rule if you back the truck up and unload the mo..... Er if you make an outstanding argument for the chosen opponent.
2. The IBO will now require a mandatory defence every 4th week against IBO's number 1 ranked champion.
3. IBO Champions may now unify with the Big 4. If an IBO champion competes against another champion and wins he becomes the IBO Super Champion. If he loses, he will stay IBO Champion and his conqueror will not gain any IBO recognition.
4. When an IBO Super Championship is won there will be a box off between the two highest rated available fighters for the IBO ‘Regular’ Championship.
5. IBO Super Champions must defend their belt against the IBO Champion within the season or they will be stripped of their title by seasons end. If there is already a IBO ‘Super’ Champion and the IBO 'regular' champion unifies another title then both fighters must face off for the IBO 'Super Duper' Championship. If either or neither fighter agrees to the fight, they will be stripped of their IBO recognition.
6. If an IBO ‘Super’ Champion loses to any fighter other than a current IBO champion the belt will not pass on to his conqueror.

Special MDT Rules
If an IBO Champion enters the MDT Tournament
1. A interim belt will be created so highly ranked IBO fighters do not have to wait for the MDT tournament to finish for the glory that the IBO title brings.
2. If an IBO Champion meets another champion during the MDT the winner will be declared IBO 'Super' Champion.
3. If the above happens, the 'Interim' Champion will be elevated to 'Regular' Champion.

I mean... awarding the MDT winner the diamond IBO title is a great for us to hack a prestigious event and claim it as our own. Further helping out legitimacy and bringing in more fees.
