BJS's shook his head twice when responding to questions from Tibbs in the corner and never offered any objection. His body language was that he wanted no more, he played his part.
This explains the head shaking.
Being disappointed about the injury, realising that chasing the victory had become a lost cause and also being powerless to prevent your trainer from stopping the fight, will probably make someone feel forlorn.
This explains the body language.
Either way, you’ve admitted there’s no definitive proof of Saunders asking his trainer to stop the fight.
By your own admission, you’re only speculating.
So why pretend you’re asserting that Billy Joe quitting is a fact, when you clearly have no definitive proof?
From Mark Tibbs, he stopped it based on the response he got from Billy Joe.

Seems you're rather willingly getting sucked in by the face saving (no pun intended) PR campaign to cover up what happened. Understandable given your personality, no worries.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑15 May 2021, 18:35The Gratest wrote: ↑09 May 2021, 01:47Sure.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑09 May 2021, 01:44

So you initially “read between the lines” by assuming head shaking meant “quit”, based on the physical reactions of Saunders own corner. The Gratest wrote: ↑15 May 2021, 19:02Seems you're rather willingly getting sucked in by the face saving (no pun intended) PR campaign to cover up what happened. Sure.

But you don’t trust their words?
So the reactions of the same people you claim to be providing damming proof, you also regard as unreliable witnesses?
What’s the point of the video you posted? It didn’t refute Ben Davidson’s claims or any other video evidence anyone can find.

Nope, I never said that at all. You seem to once again be desperately trying to add in the word 'quit' when I never even mentioned the word. Is there really something that wrong with you?Enlightened-One wrote: ↑15 May 2021, 20:02So you initially “read between the lines” by assuming head shaking meant “quit”, based on the physical reactions of Saunders own corner. The Gratest wrote: ↑15 May 2021, 19:02Seems you're rather willingly getting sucked in by the face saving (no pun intended) PR campaign to cover up what happened. What I do trust is Mark Tibbs (not Jimmy), BJS' head coach/trainer, stating that he and his fighter had a direct conversation in the corner. He based his judgement on stopping the fight on what he got back from his fighter. His fighter offered no objection when informed that the fight was going to be stopped.
If you find anything incorrect with that then please go ahead and say so.
You appear to need to be spoonfed when it comes to understanding these things. That video from Mark Tibbs (not Jimmy) is quite clearly a statement to say that Ben Davison had fck all to do with the decision, other than whispering in BJS' ear. He wasn't even part of the training team, turned up the morning of the fight, so has fck all clout when it comes to those decisions.
The important dialogue regarding the decision was between Mark Tibbs (not Jimmy) and BJS, no-one else.
Did you notice all the previous Mark Tibbs videos have now disappeared? Step outside your comfort zone for once and go have a look in The British/Irish part of the forum, you might learn something.
It's trying to be buried and smoothed over. Just like you're attempting to do after getting your arse smacked last week. Both failing.

That’s a lot of words, but you’re essentially admitting to not having any evidence to support your own stance? The Gratest wrote: ↑15 May 2021, 20:19Nope, I never said that at all. None of the videos you keep posting explicitly support any of your claims.
But if I post a video of one of the men in Billy Joe’s own corner explicitly endorsing 100% every single thing I claimed, you suddenly dismiss it as being irrelevant.
I also previously quoted your words, after you’d claiming you never said certain things, but you continued to pretend you’d never said them.

I've asked you before to directly quote me using the word 'quit' and to date you have not been able to do that, yet bizarrely keep on claiming I said it? You're normally such an expert doing these searches but are failing with this one and instead adding your own slant to try and fudge it.
Go on kid, quote me using the word quit. I betcha can't.
OK, so you're deciding to cling on to what's been said by a guy who wasn't even part of the training camp rather than the main trainer/coach of BJS has to say. Lol
Here's what Mark Tibbs (not Jimmy) had to say regarding the stoppage:
“I didn't get the response I wanted from him. I didn't get the response I needed in the corner and I knew it was caved in. I'm not surprised I got the response I got."
Now what exactly do you think is meant by "I didn't get the response I wanted from him"?

Now if you can't actually quote me using the word 'quit' and are unwilling to truthfully explain what Mark Tibbs meant, might I suggest you give it a rest rather than clogging up the forum with your usual brand of crap?
