Not sure if there is an official rule. Better to have anyone than no-one, even if just to lift the stall into the ring and fetch water. A bit risky having no cut man either.

It happens all the time in the ams when you ask someone to hand up to you. That's always when a fighter and trainer are alone and they'll know whoever they ask from the circuit.

Even though this is a piss poor fight and Boxrec doesn’t mention it’s for the WBA regular title which sky sports did I’m interested to see what Charr has left and what Lovejoy can do

Won’t need the stool, water or advice between rounds, lovejoy is a round 1 ko master and arguably the real p4p 1 (haters will say canelo). He will knock char out within the first 3 mins, smart of him to not give 10 percent to any leaches trying to ride on his coattails.
