Michał Cieślak vs Yuriy Kashinskiy - 14 May, IBF CW Title Eliminator

Post by aicheligad »

Today in Warsaw, Poland on the Polsat Boxing Night event.

🇵🇱 Michał Cieślak - 20(14) 1(0) 0
Height: 190cm
Weight: 90,6kg
Reach: 201cm
Age: 32
Residence: 🇵🇱 Radom, Poland

vs

🇷🇺 Yuriy Kashinskiy - 20(18) 1(0) 0
Height: 188cm
Weight: 90,4kg
Reach: 196cm
Age: 35
Residence: 🇷🇺 Novosibirsk, Russia

Two weeks later, 🇵🇱 Mateusz Masternak - 43(29) 5(1) 0 will face 🇧🇦 Damir Beljo - 26(21) 0 0 for the IBF CW Intercontinental Belt. So, if Briedis decides to vacate and go to the HW, we will likely get Cieślak vs Masternak for the IBF Title :box:

Really looking forward to the main event. Kashinkiy is a certifiable lunatic in the ring and very physically strong at a certain level. But what about this level?

Cieslak bigger, longer and better-schooled, if not significantly faster, but showed vulnerability against Makabu. So if the brawler can start finding him by the mid-rounds it could be interesting.

I think that this fight will happen now. That is because they wanted to show Cieślak's fight on the main channel, and the time is limited. However, I didn't listened to the interviews now so I don't know, it's just a guess, we'll know soon.

Thanks. Yes, that was a shame. Kashinskiy clearly isn't as durable at this level, though he did get caught with a beauty on the temple.
