Back in the day baseball was ridiculed for having 'old timer's day'. Boxing and football (American-sorry soccer but bouncing a ball off your head is a puss concussion) were real sports. There was a saying in fact, 'There's no old timer's day in boxing'. The old man would die If he tried, if he wasn't already crippled and lobotomized by the damage he took sacrificing himself for fame and glory. I thank the lord I'm old enough to remember the video collection called 'Football's Greatest Hits' of various quarterbacks getting decapitated or having their limbs amputated by Lawrence Taylor and his friends. Thankfully we've evolved into a safer, saner, less murderous society that no longer needs infamous blood sports. We can all cheer for $99.99 as a couple of old heroes tap gloves and try not to hurt each other as they waddle around the ring..
