I was just thinking there's another ineffective round of Buatsi following Dos Santos around then suddenly it's all over.

Frightening knockout. Dos Santos just hit the floor and didn't move a muscle.

The depressing thing is that was "3 European Title fights" but we can all think of at least 10 better fighters that might be the best in Europe.

Imagine watching the Champs League final and being able to name 10 more deserving teams than Citeh or Chelsea ?!

We can't say for sure that even Buatsi is the No.1 in Europe.
In reality "3 decentish ranking matches".

Stunning KO from Buatsi that, didnt even need that second right hand, the first one had him out, showed viciousness which is always good, how Dos Santos managed to go unbeaten in 15 is a miracle, he looks like he's been boxing 6 weeks, his balance and guard were all over the gaff, not really sure what happened for th knockdown in the 2nd, a cuffing right maybe, Buatsi just stalked him, cut the ring off and walked him down, KO came a bit of out of nowhere but god damn, sent Dos Santos to the shadow realm

Well done Gamal and Jason for putting on a proper fight.

The rest was an absolute shitshow.

No way, see guys often windmilling a fallen guy as they take a knee etc.....he looked like he was already in motion and as it lands he was pulling back immediately knew the man was down and out.

Seems a really nice guy Buatsi....he doesn't throw that follow up shot in any kind of bad intention.

Yes Eddie, Lara and Stratton were outsiders but they weren't 25/1 shots. Dos Santos was there to survive not to win. Totally out of his depth.

Or Yarde, or Arthur, or Johnson.

Pitiful that these fights aren't being made

"What's a road man?"

It's a wanker kid that can't speak properly who rides a Moped and wears two pairs of tracksuit bottoms that thinks smoking weed and carrying a knife makes him hard, and steals phones.

Why do they have to have this narrative that a fighter was a complete bell-end in the past? Anybody would think to young people today being a cretin was cool.

Oh wait... It is.

Mismatch and curiously flat. I'm not down with all these people who are falling out of love with boxing and quitting watching it- it was always going to struggle to survive COVID- but that didn't really do anything for me.

Yep - the ref didn’t count to 10 so it’s a TKO.

Yeah, they did that for Hatton's decapitation at the hands of Pacquiao too, because the ref is supposed to count for it to be a KO, which is a stupid rule. If you check Hatton's record they have subsequently rectified it though.
