DAZN coverage of the 15th May show in Manchester.

Post by candyslim »

I finally got around to subscribing in order to watch Canelo/ BJS. Great value because for the cost of a one off PPV covers my subscription for the year, except that £1.99 per month isn't going to be the rate for long I'm sure.

I thought DAZN were covering the Manchester show, so I duly opened the app and saw "There are currently no events in our schedule on this day" which made me think I'd obviously got it wrong. No problem, I watched it on Sky instead but David Diamante doing the introduction announced that it was being broadcast live on Sky and on DAZN.

I'm a bit crap when it comes to technology if I'm honest. Anybody got any ideas why I might not have been able to access the show on DAZN?

They only show Hearn's SKY shows on their US platform. So if you're in the US you get it, here you don't.

Thanks Carlos that's a bummer. I didn't realize there was going to be segregated content. WTF?

I guess it won't matter where Sky are covering the show in their basic sports package but can we be sure some shows aren't going to fall through the cracks?

Matchroom and Sky are parting ways aren't they?

UK based shows were shown on Sky always. Only the US shows were DAZN. When Matchroom part with Sky, if and when they do, then I’m guessing it’ll all be DAZN.

Matchroom only has one more boxing event being covered by Sky.

All UK boxing shows will be exclusively covered by DAZN immediately after Matchroom’s contract with Sky expires.

I’ve subscribed to DAZN Canada for £100 per year, because I want to watch all the English Premier League games live, as well as the boxing.

I am feeling pretty good about my DAZN, Showtime, YouTubeTv, and Russian feed at the moment.
