How many fights did Groves and Degale have. That was nearly full.
It was Degale’s 11th and Groves’ 13th. They also benefited from the amateur rivalry and Degale’s profile from the Olympic gold coupled with additional hype it got with it being PPV.

I genuinely can’t think of another fight that sold that well between 2 U.K. guys with less than 10 fights each.
McGregor and Farooq had a pretty decent crowd at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, not sure how many the indoor arena holds - maybe 7k? Think Farooq may have had over ten fights but not McGregor.
Yeah - I’d forgotten about that one but it’s a good example although you’re right re: Kash - I think it was his 12th or 13th fight.

Yh. His fights were being broadcast on BBC Scotland including the one with McGregor.

Good performance from Buatsi.

Apart from not being good enough, Dos Santos biggest mistake was pulling an MMA move in the 3rd :shame: If he wasn't getting smashed before that, he definitely was afterwards !

Superb finish by Buatsi....KO of the year contender :OhYes:

Josh has to kick on now :TU: A solid domestic clash would nice next as there's no shortage to choose from.

Sidenote: Buncey was spot on with his punditry for BBC radio 5 live Extra :salut:

I’m glad it sold well, hope both the lads sold a bundle and made a few quid themselves they earned it in the ring, and being willing to fight each other in the first place, cracking fight too

Hope this happens down the line, would definitely go to watch it live.
