the wba lists murodjon akhlmedov as wba super champion at 122, but boxrec lists the title as vacant in the champions table and lists the same title being on the line for fulton-figueroa

the wba seem to want to make their title situations as confusing as possible

Figueroa was not for the Super title, but for the "WBA Unified" title, which you will be able to see in their next rankings in two weeks. Now, I have put in a code to put Akhmadaliev back as Super champion. Should be done when system makes its daily update today.

Codes do not work anymore in the new version... I hope John, Dan or Martin will be able to put him back manually... It's a little hard to believe this wouldn't be possible for the programmers..?

Dear Claude, Figueroa won that WBA Super World title after Akhmadaliev did. Akhmadaliev had to have been stripped before or had to have vacated that title before. Figueroa followed Akhmadaliev and Akhmadaliev lost his title. So if Figueroa now vacated the title, how would Akhmadaliev be able to be re-instated in what he had lost before?
There is only one option. The title wasn't in at that Figuerao bout or Figueroa didn't get that title legally. Then that title should be deleted from that bout. And Akhmadaliev could be re-instated in that title.

I again looked into the WBA website:
- Figueroa won the WBA unified World title on 2021-05-10 and still is listed as WBA World champion
- Akhmadaliev still is listed as WBA Super World champion

So as a solution
- I changed the title in stake for Figueiroa for his fight on 2021-05-10 to WBA World title
- I re-instated Akhmadaliev for the WBA Super World title

Listen, Akhmadaliev was and still is the WBA Super champion. He now won the WBC title, which makes him the WBA "Unified" champion and the WBC "World" champion. Marina and I decided to put in the WBA "Super" title for Figueroa vs. Nery and also for Figueroa vs. Fulton. That is because of the fact that we do not have the "Unified Champion" label in our list of titles, but, for the sake of consistency, it was decided to put in the "Super" title for "Unified" champions of the WBA because we always did so in the past. In no later than 2 weeks, when the new WBA rankings will be published, you will be able to see for yourself what the WBA names Figueroa. If it won't be "Unified" for any reason, I will take the "Super" title out of the two fights again. But even if we show it was for the "Super" title, it was not. Akhmadaliev is still the "Super" champion, point blank. And that's the WBA's highest world title. Super -> Unified - > World - > In recess - > Interim - > Gold.

Oh, and by the way: Why is it so difficult to put back Akhmadaliev as "Super" champion manually? Don't tell me there's nothing you can do...

Well, OK, I let it be for the moment, but if the next WBA ratings show Figueroa as anything else than world champion, I'll change it... After all, if the regular world title is vacant now, Raeese Aleem could be elevated from interim to regular, or Azat Hovhannisyan could be fighting TBA for the vacant title...
