Hopefully this sets up the winner vs Crawford. Whilst I think most see Spence and Crawford as the top two - I guess given the fact Manny beat the once very highly thought of Thurnman would still leave that slight lingering question mark after any Spence vs Crawford fight.

Whilst I know what you are saying, I disagree. Even if Pacquiao loses - his next fight will do bigger numbers than Spence..... if somehow he beats Spence - then a fight with Crawford will not only capture the casual fans, but even the true fans might think "well this is 1 vs 2" -

Don't think Spence will get a following even if he smashes Pacquaio. Pac man will state he's been inactive and that will still see him being the bigger star of the 3 champions in the division.

Can’t argue with your logic in terms of short term popularity but a 42 yr old years past his best semi retired part time politician beating a supposedly prime superstar like Spence could open a can of worms. Will it open the door to ridiculous comebacks by Floyd and Oscar and does it make more likely a merging in the public’s consciousness of serious boxing and you tube celeb boxing.

Long term PED use is often about tolerance. It comes down to genetics in the sense both the actual improvement gained, and also the underrated factor of whether your body can take long term abuse. Poor tolerance of drugs would show in a variety of features, from hair loss to changes in the structure of heart and kidneys. I’d suggest it’s probably fairly obvious that Pacquiao gets both an over average performance boost, and also can tolerate the long term exposure to prosper as he does in his early 40’s.
