I don’t often agree with what comes out of big johns mouth but he bang on with BD. definitely a case of “dad knows best” there.

Is it worth having its own RBR on the B&I section?
May just put it up on CS and leave it there.

Not by competition and performances, anybody see Elitist Atlas saying how good Ramirez' win over Postol was and how Postol is better on the outside than Taylor... Clearly not realising Taylor already beat Postol and more convincingly!!..Also seems to think any fighter from North Europe is English

Free to air here in China, if you can get hold of CCTV-5 on your computer, you should be able to get it for free albeit with Chinese commentary.

Taylor is starting to annoy me.with his bully/aggressive tactics
Ramirez seems like a classy guy and Taylor is coming across like a bellend

Ramirez speaks perfect English.
Josh is in the other guys backyard, he’s just showing them he’s not there to make up the numbers and he’s not intimidated.
It’s a good move, why not, if the greats like Hagler & Duran could do it, so can Taylor.
Marv cultivated an intense hatred for all his opponents, it’s what made him tick.
Honeyghan was the same, not there to mess around.

Rewatching the Prograis fight. What an unbelievably good match up, fight and ultimately win this was for Taylor.
Styles make fights but it’s hard to think Ramirez will be a harder fight for Taylor than Prograis, what a little fighter he is.

Oh totally
You won't get much argument on here if they were to have a rematch after this...

I want Crawford/Taylor next, but I'd definitely watch that rematch. Really high level fast paced fight
Re: Josh Taylor vs. Jose Ramirez - 22 May 2021
Prograis failed to achieve enough volume of activity for the first 10 rounds in the opponent’s backyard; far too nonchalant. I believe that he was too confident that he would clip and finish Taylor. He failed to shift gears early enough.
It was similar to Ramirez v Zepeda except Ramirez picked his volume up earlier and overcame Zepeda’s challenge in another very close decision.

Aw, Prograis was shipping major body work all fight. I still wince thinking about itironbeard wrote: ↑22 May 2021, 15:27Prograis failed to achieve enough volume of activity for the first 10 rounds in the opponent’s backyard; far too nonchalant. True. Just not enough volume and urgency.KiwiRider wrote: ↑22 May 2021, 16:10Aw, Prograis was shipping major body work all fight. So...,
I've been thinking that this fight reminds me of - of all things - Farnell vs Takaloo ! Something in the over-confidence of Taylor the nonchalant switch of trainers..
Of course it'll probably be Taylor pts or Ram late stoppage, but I Can't resist 150/1 Ramirez R1 and 80/1 R1+2 - catching him cold.

While I'm not convinced Taylor will be a p4p star(I hope so), I think he wins clearly tonight
