What is next for Regis Prograis

Post by Cent0089 »

In anticipation of todays undisputed unification, i rewatched Taylor - Prograis fight. Scored it 115-113 for Taylor, but man, what a fight. Wondering what is next for Prograis. I would love to see him against Taylor - Ramirez winner. But ive read he is targeting Adrien Broner? He is with PBC now ? I just love his fighting style

I don’t think he’s with anyone. His last bout was Triller.

I've been a fan of Taylor for ages, but Reggie does earn my respect.
I would be hard pressed to have a favourite between the two.

What rematch? Taylor/prograis? That was a great fight but Taylor vs Crawford could be special.

He's been talking up Broner has he not? Also a bit of beef between him and Tank. I'd like to see him spank Tank.
Taylor v Prograis was my FOTY, one of those fights with top class skills on display as well as a battle of wills. Furthermore, they both displayed great class afterwards as well, Prograis gained a fan in me after that one.

Same here, didn't actually know much about him leading up to the WBSS announcements. So I did some study leading up to his first match up, and he impressed me. I wasn't even sure Josh would survive him.
It was a great quality fight. Unless either moves up, I can see them in a rematch fairly soon. Regius must be mandatory for at least one belt..

He doesn’t deserve the Taylor rematch just yet.

I always wanted to see Prog vs. Ramirez.

There is a certain poetry to it, both on 26-1
The winner gets to rematch "1" :D

Yeh, ever since Ramirez won the WBC, at the same time Prog won the interim WBC belt. Both were with TR at the time too.. but we never got it. Then Ramirez didn’t enter the WBSS.

If Taylor choses to defend, then it'll be interesting to see Prograis against Ramirez or Zepeda. It depends on whom Taylor fights next. I'd like to see Taylor moving up, he cleaned this division. He should move up and there should be a sort of new tourney at the super light, featuring Ramirez, Prograis, Zepeda and Catteral, to determine the new undisputed champ.

Na. He lost, no controversy in it. Losing close dosent earn a rematch without a few comeback wins. Just like ramerez dosent deserve a rematch, it was a good eddie but a decisive loss.

Yeah. Taylor won both Prograis and Ramirez decisively, so rematches vs them aren't interesting right now.
