So true.
To be fair its an interview 140lb boxing with a Scotsman winning vs NBA playoffs... It cant be a surprise to you that ESPN made that choice.
They’re only just interviewing Ramirez now.

116-110, that's giving Ramirez the last two. Good fight. I might rather watch andrade than Lundy.

We're lucky they made the fight. Nba is miles bigger than boxing.

A great fight, boxing needs such.

It was close and the edge of Taylor was established because of those knockdowns, but because of them Taylor gave away some late rounds. Ramirez was always making it a fight, but Taylor was in control.

Taylor is a great boxer. High ring IQ, excellent footwork, fast hands, good defence, excellent timing. He can both box and fight. He cleaned up this division, which is very competetive now. He can easily be put in the middle of the p4p top 10 list. I'd put him on the 5th place.

I had it 116-110 for Taylor. I could see 115-111, but 114-112 seems to close, to me. Great fight.

Anyone think Kenny Baylis is too slow lately? he seems to get in the way a fair bit.

Yea I think he is done. Half in, to close, hesitant... just seemed way to edgey. Need big decisive moves as a ref.

He sucked big time. Too quick to jump in, not letting them fight out of clinches and messing up the rhythm of the fight. I hate when the ref tries to pull the arms down when there is a clinch. He also gave Ramirez way more time after the 2nd kd pushing Taylor way back even though he had good distance from Ramirez.

I was a bit disapointed with last 3 or 4 rounds. Both guys were beasting in first half of the fight and both somewhat cooled down after knockdowns. It semed to me that Taylor was thinking he has done enough and Ramirez did not want to be down again.

Maybe they just got tired. JT initiated most of the holds in the last few rounds.

Ramirez felt enough of Taylor's power and became more careful. Taylor decided, that he had already established enough big lead for the win, and he also tried to finish the fight safe. Plus both of them tired.

I had fight 116-111 for Taylor, disappointed that Taylor didn't finish show with KO , took a risk by not stepping on the gas when Ramierez hurt.

I won't even get into pro's and cons of the referee..

Bayless gave him too much time. At least an extra 10 seconds per knockdown

This was one quality fight it has to be said, Taylor and Ramirez put on a fantastic showing.
Josh Taylor looks like he's a force to be reckoned with.
He's a very well rounded smart boxer, his name is likely to brought into the debate when talking about the P4P Top 10 with performances like that.
