I never got to see this cruiserweight in action. how good of a fighter was the African/Frenchman? Did he ever have any defining fights or any fights that were exciting? Any information would be appreciated and how would he do on the crusierweight scene if he was around today?

I can remember watching Wamba on Eurosport quite a few times in the early 90's. As far as i remember he was a steady, sturdyish sort of fighter with some skills. Just checked on his record, forgot he didnt lose a fight for the last few years of his career. Draw with Adolpho Washington and win over Marcelo Dominguez who back then were pretty decent fighters looks good on the tail-end of his record. Funny coincidence that his two career losses were from boxer's i mentioned recently, Horace Notice (top 5 underrated) and Massimilliano Duran (top 5 most hated). Remember the Tafer and Maynard fights quite well, reckon he'd hold his own in today's cruiserweights.
