Dinu clearly announced at 250lbs. Doesn’t look in bad Nick but boxrec have his weight listed at 260lbs?

Damn. I quite fancied watching a fight tonight lol!
Re: Daniel Dubois vs. Bogdan Dinu - 5 June 2021
Heaney fans are only interested in him winning not who he is fighting. I won’t be surprised see him move to SMW soon.maverick23 wrote: ↑04 Jun 2021, 12:58Yeah - strange matchmaking for Heaney. Clearly he still has lots to learn but he shouldn’t drop down 3 levels after his last fight/win. Makes no sense at all and is one of my big bugbears with boxing.Black Sam Bellamy wrote: ↑04 Jun 2021, 12:50 Considering Heaney has done 650 tickets, both he and his fans deserve a better opponent.
Liam Davies, 8-0 and now English Champion is fighting a serial loser who he beat on his second fight.
Agyarko is fighting Ernesto Olvera, a Mexican journeyman who never beats a fighter with a winning record. He should be hunting down a British title fight with a meaningful domestic opponent.
In conclusion: rubbish.
I’ve said it before but FW should be using this time as an opportunity to establish himself as a legitimate competitor to Matchroom but one show, which is really poor, in 2 months doesn’t help that one bit.

Warren loves putting on away fighters that are 2-60 type... if your going to fight a 2-60 guy dont do it on TV... I think his stable is thin enough that he has to put guys on tv fights that shouldn't be, and absolutely cant risk any of his prospects losing so has to put them in with trash.handsofstone wrote: ↑04 Jun 2021, 13:58 Another dreadful Warren card, he put on some cracking shows post covid but has slacked off big time, again the away fighters on this show are pony, i don't mind Dinu but the rest is pitiful

Re: Daniel Dubois vs. Bogdan Dinu - 5 June 2021
His stable is pretty big and easily big enough to give better TV fights than we’re getting. Could have had decent fights for one of Nathan Gorman, Hamzah Sheeraz, Chris Jenkins (I wonder if he regrets not taking the Benn fight now?!), Ekow Essuman, Sam Bowen, Cacace, Woodstock, Louie Lynn, Chris Burke. And that’s not including his 3 named light heavyweights where only one of them have fought so far this year.gregregegg wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 01:52Warren loves putting on away fighters that are 2-60 type... if your going to fight a 2-60 guy dont do it on TV... It seems the best record in boxing to get fights begins with a 0, 1 or 2 and ends in 50 or 60 something.

Yeah - I get that. It just doesn’t make much sense stepping him back so much after his last fight.Bleak wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 01:46Heaney fans are only interested in him winning not who he is fighting. It’s on FITE for US fans and around the world.

Can someone click the link and tell me how much it costs. It won’t tell me cus it’s not available in my region.

It was worse than that 0-14 lol
https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/869290
Now they’ve replaced him with an ‘unbeaten’ guy at 2-0..... whose opponents had a combined record of 0-12 lol

It was meant to be 0-14 Andy Bishop, one of tonight's opponents victims! He's taking on the Bishop basher!JamesPhilips wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 08:47It was worse than that 0-14 lol

This is a terrible undercard. I can only guess that BT are only bothered about Dubois & TF, which has given Frank some cover to save money on the opponents purses by booking complete no hopers for his home fighters.

Yep - I’m sure someone will remember one but I can’t remember a Sky show worse than this. And it’s not BT’s worst show of the year.Liston Like Jab wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 11:56 This card is everything I hate about boxing all summed up in one nice little package. Opponents with massive losing streaks making up most of the card, the most bogus world title available to the winner of the main event and a celebrity / boxer. Thank god the final of the Masked Dancer is on.
All the stick Adam Smith gets on here can be put into context by the rubbish that is being served up by BT tonight.
Wouldn’t be as bad if they had a show on every week but that’s not the case either.

Anyone complaining about tonight's card hasn't been watching true world class extensive live Olympic qualifiers on iplayer or fightzonetv who have another good one tonight. BT is third. By a distance.

Because of the name you'd imagine he'd be quite high up the bill though. Maybe 2 fights before Dubois? (Also hes fighting the deadly Bishop basher so...)Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 10:24After 9..

I got an accumulator on Dinu, the bloke Tommy Fury is fighting and Kevin Johnson (v Kabayel) at 998-1. Wish me luck!

Yeah likely. I still don't get why they protect Tommy so much though. Hes not great but whats missing? Is he chinny? I've seen no evidence of that....Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 13:55He’ll most likely go on before the main event..JamesPhilips wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 13:50Because of the name you'd imagine he'd be quite high up the bill though. Re: Daniel Dubois vs. Bogdan Dinu - 5 June 2021
I’ve been setting reminders on my phone for each fight involving the Brits. Dubois Jr did well yesterday and will be a good pro whilst I can’t see Clarke doing great when he goes pro. Decent straight right though. Price just fought well but Pat McCormack is the best Brit I’ve seen so far.mickey1975 wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 13:24 Anyone complaining about tonight's card hasn't been watching true world class extensive live Olympic qualifiers on iplayer or fightzonetv who have another good one tonight.
