Rarely for his shows I do anything but read some results and watch the one sided KOs afterwards. Most I ignore completely.

There was only one opponent who tried to win their fight and that was Tommy Fury’s opponent- shite card.

Nice KO for Dubois with a pin point right hand.

Dubois is one of those heavy handed bombers who could be caught between the devil and deep blue see !

Less than world class and the opponents can't cope with the power, but fully fledged contenders will probably turn him over every time, unless he can get a good few fights where he can become more seasoned and battle hardened.

Good to see him back in the ring and hope they keep him active

Ironically it wouldn’t even have been him as Fury’s opponent - it was 0-14-0 until there was so much abuse it was changed.

Every fight for TV was against Bulgarian Bin Man.

Now 10th July it’s Yarde and Arthur on same card to then fight each other later in year is next offering with Sharp fight added to that card.

I'd rather sit in a half empty venue if it meant the casual fans, piss heads and tossers weren't present :TU:

I suppose it's the fanatic in me, but I go to boxing shows to watch the boxing, not to see wankers making a show of themselves.

I hope that last night hasn’t ended Bogdans WBA title hopes. Cruel how one punch can change a fighters career trajectory.

Hopefully he can pick up a few more insignificant wins and get himself right back in the title picture.

I just hope the WBA retain their admiration of his abilities and find another vacant title for him somehow.

With Fres Oquendo waiting patiently for his shot and Chris Lovejoy as contenders surely they are both worthy of creating another WBA world title belt or an elimination tournament at least.

Loved the KO punch from Dubois, didn't even look like he stepped into the right hand which done Dinu, he came out throwing jabs and straight rights and was having success, you could tell Dinu wasnt up to the task and wouldnt last long so no shock to see it over in 2

The card was honking

A massive upset, not sure if anyone could have expected that. Where was Dinu's thunderous jab, masterful footwork, sweet science defensive rolls and granite chin? He should have been drugged or dressed in too heavy pants, whatever.

I’m a Stoke Fan but no way would I want to sit with that lot at boxing
Like you said I would much prefer a half empty venue

Agreed. Something was definitely up. Big Bogdan has now been drugged in 3 fights he should've won standing on his head. It's almost like there's a conspiracy to keep him out of the WBA title picture. Enquiry needed I suggest.

Yeah, man, something is definitely wrong with this story. They are trying too keep Joshua away from Big Bogdan. Anyway, all hardcore fans know, that Joshua isn't a true WBA champ. If not Dinu, than it's Trevor Bryan.

I'm loving the sarcasm  and the WBA have devalued themselves horrendously since their 'Super' champion creation and just continue to make a mockery of their organisation, BUT as Dubois' first fight back after the Joyce thumping & eye socket damage it was ok.

Dinu did box with a measure of confidence and what could he do when the right hand landed right on the button :maybe: I think the knockdown was all about accuracy rather than full blown power.

I'm not saying Dinu was very good, but he wasn't completely hapless and the situation is exacerbated because Dubois can end fights very quickly.

That said, they have to keep getting out DDD regularly with these very quick wins.

Whilts better than the Khan Olympics and the headguard removal is great, the problem with international amateur boxing is that due to enforced boring red and blue strips the boxers have to wear, its lost a lot of character. Everyone looks the same! I remember the old individual amateur strips like 1984 and 1988 were awesome. I feel like I'm watching the same faceless fighters over and over again. But yes, it a shame I can't be bothered to watch these quality bouts. Also I like to watch people get knocked out which used to happen way more in the old Olympic days..... now its quite rare.

Hungary, Turkey, Spain have some incredible talents, why they never turn over is beyond me. McGrail v The Hungarian was as high quality as you'll see. There have been stoppages. Body work is scored. Its high level 3 round boxing and can only improve as when most of these lads started it was the headguard/fencing style.

Thanks I might take a look then! As to the countries you mention pro boxing isn't that big there and they may get big funding. Like a lot of the good Italian amateurs do not turn over. They had some good ones like Clemente Russo and Camarelle. But they get paid and looked after.
