What an amazing job by the British team so far in the Olympic qualifiers.

10 are through to the Olympics (and maybe one more), 6 have made finals, 3 are in the semis and still to compete, 1 is in a box off to see if they make it to the Olympics, McGrail lost after already qualifying and Lewis Richardson lost in a competitive fight against the number 1 seed.

Great performance. Hopefully they’ll be able to peak again for the Olympics themselves.

I thought McGrail won.

It was one of those that could have gone either way I thought. A couple of the other Brits had similar fights go in their favour.

Who do you think will make the best pros? Pat McCormack could be a beast if he can make Welterweight as a pro - may be a bit too heavy for it though.

I got lucky with seeing AJ in the first round of the Olympics at the excel. That wasn’t even a close one!

A couple maybe - not loads. Savon should have been a defeat and Camarelle in the final was a very tight one that could have easily been scored against him but I’m not aware of many others.

I actually thought he deserved to win the worlds final against Majidov.

No. I thought he nicked it. I'm usually harder on the home fighter. I thought Luke McCormack was fortunate.

the mccormacks are still young enough to have a run in the pros, obviously gotta be matched fast from the go and dont have much time for slip ups

fowler turned over at 25 and is being talked about at the best brit at the weight
