He’s said in quite a few interviews he had never done sparring before Freddie Pendleton uppercutted his head guard off, he’d not wore one before.

Well yeah Duran was on a UK tour. It was May 88. I got his autograph. Both Duran and Benn agreed to have a move around for a couple of rounds.

I am sure Calzaghe, Benn, Eubank, Watson sparred...bet they sainbury'd, tescoe'd and morrison'd too. Doesn't make them bad people. ;-) :lol:
