Pops in his prime was a better fighter, so I would go with him in a battle of the southpaws, probably by decision because Del Valle wouldn't have engaged in a war with him

Agree,Del Valle not had a power so that stopped Johnson's pressure but he had a solid chin and can take Johnson's best shots.

Marvin Johnson would out-box and out-punch Del Valle to take a decision in a battle of the southpaws.
