Mike Coppinger just tweeted saying Sky and Top Rank have signed a 4 year contract showing all their US cards.

Good stuff. Think the Shakur Stevenson show this weekend is the first TR show to be aired on Sky as part of this agreement.

Is the Teofimo Lopez/Kamboses jr fight on ESPN in the US and promoted by Top Rank? :maybe:

I can only assume that Sky will take the feed so will have minimal outgoings. There should be no need for Sky to waste money on their own boxing team when they can utilise all the onsite broadcast team/facilities

Do you thought DAZN were going to be showing Bob and Top Rank's fights? :o

Eddie might want to describe DAZN as the global home of boxing, but the majority of top fighters aren't with DAZN and the majority of fights aren't shown on DAZN.

No I didn’t think that would happen, just talking about an ideal world really. One place showing all boxing would be great, am sick of Sky dipping in.

That’s in the US market… I hope Sky will now pick up the live feed and we will get it here for nothing as it is a Top Rank promotion.
Possibility of Fury vs Wilder on Sky now… obvs PPV.

It’s not a Top Rank promotion - it’s a Triller promotion. Bob isn’t involved at all other than taking a decent % of Teofimo’s purse.

Sky or anyone else would need to pay big money for Triller to show rights outside the UK.

Triller may consider it, to make back some money.

But yeh, the TR/Sky deal will be Top Rank promoted cards

Triller own Fite TV now so I’d be surprised if they look to show it anywhere else.

I think they won't sign anything exclusive, they'll work with anyone.

But the way it is done is that X amount of dates are set aside each year so whichever promoter will have good notice of the dates they are signed up for so that the shows can be organised.

Hearn has to fill his shows in America with Brits because he doesn't have much American talent at all. Not going to 'control boxing' in the States with Ramla Ali 4 rounders.
He can always use filler . Like he usually gets local boxers that he doesn't promote on the cards, will be better when crowds are back full time.

Good news, but it could have come a bit sooner so Taylor/Ramirez would not have had to be on a atform most people hadn't even heard of

Sky may have decided to put it on PPV so could have ended up more expensive than Fite TV.

At least it would have given the fight far more visibility though.

Adam Smith at 4am commentating on Terrence Crawford vs a road sweeper. Just what everyone was asking for all these years.
