Yildrim seems to like a payday. I bet he maintains a dangerman/journeyman label for the next ten years on the euro circuit.joshj909 wrote: ↑10 Jun 2021, 12:55And:Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑10 Jun 2021, 11:16 Other fighters pencilled in for week one include Anthony Fowler, Jack Cullen and Campbell Hatton.
Cullen Vs Yildrim
Courtenay Vs Ball
McCarthy (Tommy?)
Ryan (Sandy?)
Nice postgregregegg wrote: ↑10 Jun 2021, 19:44 This is a good fight for where conor is at. It seems weak because of how much conor runs his mouth about being ready for champs but Granados is decent. Of his 8 losses only only Danny Garcia, Porter and Diaz beat him convincingly.
If This fight is close then it was obviously a good pick and conor will learn, if conor fuks him up then its a very impressive performance and if conor loses then hard to claim its too easy a fight...
I dont mind how conors opponents have been shaping up, id much rather they pick 30-6 guys that have lost to the best than padded 20-0 guys. My only problem with it is, if your fighting well below world levle, should be aiming at 4 fights a year, not 2 a year.
30-6 guys who lost to the best....if you mean sam vargas, his wins are entirely padded btw, just like the 20-0 guys, and he's just been a punch bag vs the big boisgregregegg wrote: ↑10 Jun 2021, 19:44 This is a good fight for where conor is at. I was talking about vargas and granados and even formela (although he dosent have the losses i still feel he is that kinda guy) types rather than anyone in particular. I know your views on vargas, but he was a decent pick at least to get some rounds in (not in hindsight...).margaret thatcher wrote: ↑10 Jun 2021, 19:5730-6 guys who lost to the best....if you mean sam vargas, his wins are entirely padded btw, just like the 20-0 guys, and he's just been a punch bag vs the big boisgregregegg wrote: ↑10 Jun 2021, 19:44 This is a good fight for where conor is at. granados on the other hand has given hell to a lot of them, better than vargas for sure albeit hasnt looked so plucky in his last 2 big name fights
They care if he loses..garethhop wrote: ↑11 Jun 2021, 05:39 It's a shame. Because I think he's a real star, could be in some cracking fights, and he's the type of fighter it doesn't matter if he loses because people will want to watch him again, and hopefully progress.
But him fighting Granados.....why not do him and Josh Kelly?
I wanna see him fight Dave Aveseyen.garethhop wrote: ↑11 Jun 2021, 05:39 It's a shame. Because I think he's a real star, could be in some cracking fights, and he's the type of fighter it doesn't matter if he loses because people will want to watch him again, and hopefully progress.

How many round is the fight?
It's an 8 rounder.jameswilson wrote: ↑14 Jun 2021, 16:02How many round is the fight?
McCarthy v Billam Smith is a cracker in my opinion. I love a good European title fight between two deserving British or Irish fighters.
There are lots of good fights but just too much talk pre announcement has made it feel like a bit of a letdown. Eddie’s probably the best promoter (outside of Jake Paul) in boxing but he should wait until fight’s are announced before selling them.stujones wrote: ↑15 Jun 2021, 03:59 Considering Eddie Hearn has been making so many hints that this is the just such a "stacked" few weeks -and the obviously staged responses where Eddie has been showing Kugan the notes and the reaction has been "oh my god, no way - that's brilliant" - I am left slightly uninspired by the whole thing..... if you count the PPV card also - I think last years fight camp was probably better. Galahad vs Dickens is obviously the eye catching fight - but rest is a bit meh.
Entertaining video. Little Connor clearly doesn’t want anything to do with a live opponent like him
