Rd 11 - Charlo should not be going toe to toe. He should be moving and jabbing. Giving Montiel no opportunity. Montiel pounding Charlo. Charlo finally starts moving. Montiel is the only one doing damage here. Charlo eating waaay too much.

Montiel had Charlo in a bit of trouble twice. Montiel not only landed some good shots but he boxed decently. He was not as easy to hit as earlier in career. Really interesting fight.

Well shit ay, last leg of an accummulator that didnt need to be there, saw montiel had been stopped early befor (never noticed by mungbean, but that wouldent of changed my mind.), saw that 23/25 people thought this would be a charlo stoppage, just thought charlo vs B grade wouldent go 12. very wrong, dont know if it was poor by charlo, or good by montiel but that was a close fight in the end(not on the cards).

Charlo battered him from pillar to post all fight. Just one of those where a fighter has decided they're not going down at any cost.

I was always thinking Charlo has big punching power and great stamina. He didnt showed it tonight. Ive noticed In Derevyanchenko fight he did not like body shots and he definitely did not like them tonight. But lets be fair, Montiel came in for serious business and Charlo handled it and got decent W.

He looked terrible after coming back to the scales, eyes and cheeks sunken in. I was thinking of having a little flutter on Montiel after the weigh in.
