Is a bit funny how people draw such strong national lines in an individual sport. It happens in things like tennis too i guess, but weird that people will go for someone from there country thats a fuk head, over someone from another country who is delightful. very rare to see that not happen. Only time i can think of is as an Australian, most people want Tommic to lose, because he is a twat.

I think 'proud flag waving citizens' are probably the 'racists' that Wilder fan types are projecting their hatred for onto a gypsy from Morcombe. I wonder how long it will take for the US to escape the legacy of paranoia, division, hatred and denial left by the Trump administration? It's spread across the pond too but it's mostly all chat here whereas the US has looked on the verge of civil war at times.nmhz wrote: ↑21 Jun 2021, 01:40Sounds more like the standard United States programmed mentality. Fury's British, so it would be understandable if the US people didn't like him and supported Wilder for that reason. But I think what Margaret's saying is it's much more to do with the fact that he's white. That's very sad for me to say, because I don't think that it's that attitudes in the sport have regressed, but that it's the energy that Wilder and his peculiar fanbase bring: and the PBC have used their fighters to fuel some of the ridiculous propaganda.

I think most UK fans were quite happy to see Billy Joe's squashed face the other day.gregregegg wrote: ↑21 Jun 2021, 02:52 Is a bit funny how people draw such strong national lines in an individual sport. I wish those damned Democrats had something other to talk about than race.
How about false pandemics?
US funded virus labs in China?
Stolen elections?
A senile escapee from a dementia ward posing as a president?
I guess all racist Joe has is divisive tactics, and increased budget deficits...
Meanwhile I'm staying with Wilder despite him being American and Fury British.
Despite him sacking Breland and casting all kinds of unwarranted aspersions at him.
I think it's high time Mark broke the silence.
He's a dignified man but there's only so much nonsense he should have to put up with.

so you dont think breland did an inside job on wilder, and had him drugged up and stopped it too soon? what about him not saying anything about fury's loaded gloves?Thomastearns wrote: ↑21 Jun 2021, 12:34Jeff_lacy_ko wrote: ↑21 Jun 2021, 11:24Trump is so powerful, that even out of office he affects overseas posters and makes them see things only by race.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑21 Jun 2021, 10:11 im black , black black blackity black, black jesus, black santa, black tooth fairy, black black black

i dunno man, there is a lot to suggest the rematch was a fraud, stolen fight #stopthesteal
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - July 24, 2021
Wilder's most recent excuse is Fury had 'white privilege' on his side. This is not a joke. This is an actual real thing that he has said in the past few days.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑21 Jun 2021, 12:38so you dont think breland did an inside job on wilder, and had him drugged up and stopped it too soon? what about him not saying anything about fury's loaded gloves?Thomastearns wrote: ↑21 Jun 2021, 12:34Jeff_lacy_ko wrote: ↑21 Jun 2021, 11:24

lololol, this must surely be the most excuses ever made for a single fight
-fury got away with stuff because of white privlege
-my costume was too heavy
-the other guy had egg weights in his glove
-i was drugged
-my team had a conspiracy against me
-someone spied on me in the locker room
-the ref was against me
-my trainer stopped it too early

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - July 24, 2021
Yeah man. He's dragging everyone down. I partially hold the boxing press to task for repeating it, and almost inciting him into it, though it's not (another) excuse
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - July 24, 2021
Every excuse adds 1% to a chance of loss via DQ. So we currently have a 8% chance of loss via DQ.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑21 Jun 2021, 12:55 lololol, this must surely be the most excuses ever made for a single fight

Attention! The poll needs to be amended. 8% is not insignificant.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - July 24, 2021
It has created threads and discourse and is effectively selling the fight, which is awful. I think we can safely say as fans of the sport and it's rich history of brilliant fighters from all kind of backgrounds, that when it comes down to boxing we are not racists and I wish Deontay had been stopped trying to shove this narrative down our throats. He's been doing it since at least the 2nd fight, but the media hasn't bitten until now. Now it's the perfect way to sell what was previously considered a one sided waste of time.

It is a conspiracy, because now he is saying a lack of loyalty caused the loss.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - July 24, 2021
The only reason for the Wilder's loss is the fact, that he is a big dosser with a right hand and nothing apart of it. He can't box, he can't fight, he can only throw his right hand. He has nothing, except his right hand. The right hand of him is everything he possesses. The right hand of him controls him. It's his right hand, who ordered him not to learn how to box, but only to throw it. It's his right hand, who ordered him to miss training days with leg workouts. It's his right hand, who told him, that he needed a body on the record. It's his right hand, who told him, that Breland had betrayed him. It's his right hand, who told him to train under the professional diver in order to quit in the Fury III bout without getting much hurt. One day the right hand will ultimately take control over the big dosser's brain and body. It will learn to talk and to do everything itself. It will box even better than Wilder and one day it won't need Deontay at all. We are witnessing the last chapter of the big dosser's story.
