Great, great day of sports. Hungary brings France back to earth, Germany sends a message, Brooklyn eliminated  , and a great series of fights showing specifically why I am a boxing fan first.

Get him in with rigo ASAP. It’s still a fun fight but can’t let rigo get older...

A walk in the park for the Japanese wrecking machine. Move him up, match him against Canelo or Godzilla.

Absolutely.

There's no current boxer I can respect more.

If he was from the UK or the US he'd be a household name.

What more can you expect from a human being?

he grew up in california, fought in the us amateur system, is a us citizen, speaks fluent english without an accent, and got tons of hype on hbo and has continually headlined on major networks. if anythings holding his popularity back its that he fights at such a low weight and thatt boxing isnt huge in the usa.............its not some perception that he's not from the us

Donaire is reminding me of JMM, a guy that seems to only improve and cement a legacy with age. When he was stopped by Walters a few years ago i thought it was the end for Donaire, but how good do his recent performances look now - especially the Inoue effort. Warrior.

:TU: nailed it Ricky.
He continues to impress me. Just when I think he might be sliding, he puts in a terrific performance. And this is a small weight class, where guys fall off the planet when age takes hold.

WBA/WBO bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue after defeating Michael Dasmarinas: "Thank you everyone for your support [for my] second main event in Las Vegas. This time, I was able to relax. This was a mandatory defense, but next time I hope it is for a four-belt world championship unification against the winner of [WBC champion Nontio] Donaire vs. [IBF champion John Riel] Casimero!"
