Floyd is a genius in building up the hype and the profile of a fighter. Davis beat an old-washed up Gamboa, a smaller LSC and a skinny 140 lbs paper champ. And now people are saying Davis is so wow. I thought that Barrios would give to Davis a tough fight but it's obvious that Barrios was chosen for a reason.

True. Gary Russell could be a realistic opponent for Davis.

I doubt Mayweather's ego will allow Davis to become as big as him or make the kind of money he did, Leonard Ellerbe is everything thats wrong with boxing, im certain he sleeps in a Floyd Mayweather duvet

very similar levle to me. Id have barros as a tiny bit better win due to the going to 140 element, but id have Lomas preformance as better seeing as the opponents were simular levle and how dominant he was.

At this point, all criticism of Tank based on risk aversion is hereby vaporized. This is a huge step up and a ridiculous challenge. If he gets by this, everyone is on notice, including Taylor.

All criticism of Tank is justified. He's Broner all over again, or at least only slightly better. He'll only win titles at 140 and 147 if they're careful as all hell who they match him with. He may not get by Barrios, and he won't dare fight Taylor.

The hype around him vs who he fights is absurd.
