Thanks for the info, do you know if Catley kept himself in reasonable shape during his absence? No chance he can make Middle is there? I actually just watched an old fight of his at Middle vs George Bocco (thanks to forum member Matt Teague for that)- he was actually more impressive than the hyped Sky main even then.

I just thought he was so much quicker at Middle.

Here is the bill I am talking about

He has always kept in good shape and is a famliy man with 3 kids so has not had a hard lifestyle out of the ring. He has been running his own removals company and i think that kept him in relatively good shape. He helped me move a 3 piece suite once and carried the sofa on his own!!!! :o Incredible strength

He is more comfortable at Supermiddleweight nowdays. I think middleweight would be difficult now. I remember the fight with Bocco, Catley was always a better boxer than people gave him credit for. He seemed to get a reputation as a bit of a brawler but that was not really the case. He has fast hands, good array of punches and physically very strong.

He would give Carl Froch a few problems!

I think that reputation came after the Neville Brown fight. Catley was a bit free and easy with the fouls that night!

If Glenn is in shape and gets a couple of good wins under his belt then he could get in the mix for British title, then take it from there.
I'm not sure he'd get a match with Froch anywhen soon, Carl seems to be heading for a world title eliminator.
