I’d pick both to beat Adeleye now. Adeleye looked good bashing up guys who always get stopped by prospects or blown up crusierweights but he’s nothing special at all.

Fisher needs loads of work but has a dig and a good jab. Dacres has far more amateur experience at a decent level than either Fisher or Adeleye, has a pretty good jab and good work rate. Will be interesting to see if he can take a punch as I don’t like the way he leans away when under pressure but I think he beats Sokolowski fairly comfortably.

what exactly do you go on with fisher? had virtually no am career and then just crudely clubbed the typical journeymen. looks a bit o novelty and ko waiting to happen unless he improves big time

adayleye had decent am experience, won the abas as a junior and senior and boxed internationally some. whatever his record was he actually won stuff of note . although he is obivously limited i think he'd do fisher right now

btw fisher's am record is all over the place.....sometimes it's being claimed as 10-0 with all 10 by first round ko, sometimes it's he had 10 fights and won 3 by first round ko, sometimes he was 9-1, another time i saw him claim he had 4 am fights, another article claims 16 am fights..they cant keep it straight

Big step up for dacres. decent enough fight for fisher. As long as they make the fight soon, and then get another fight soon after that.

Considering Fisher’s lack of amateur career I think he’s got a lot of potential. Seems to hit really hard and has a decent jab. Could get him a British title if he keeps improving. I’ve heard Joyce speak very highly of him re: the work they do in sparring and I just think he’ll be a tough guy to beat.

Did Adeleye really win the senior ABAs?! I didn’t think he did. I knew he did as a junior but didn’t think he achieved too much as a senior.

Adeleye also isn’t a big heavyweight. He would be at Bridger and could probably make cruiser if he wanted to. Fisher would have a couple of stone on him I would have thought I think he’d walk him down and beat him up in the end.

ya adaleye did win the national seniors, he's 6'4.5 and about 225 with a 6 pack, im sure he could fatten up some and join the rest of the tubby hw crew at 250 or something.

watching fisher i have no idea what you're talking about tbh, he looks like a total novice clubber just starting out in the ams...technique, balance, range, etc all off. his technique is that of someone boxing for a matter of months rather than years , looks like a big strong lad who was more serious about rugby and just boxed a bit on the side so he could hold his own in scraps. also only has a surprisingly short reach of 77 for his height to jab with

I can see your point re: Fisher. He doesn’t look anything special and needs a lot of work. I genuinely think he’s going to be tough to beat though on the way up to British title level.

Have you got a link re: Adeleye’s ABA senior win? The only mention of it I could find was on his Wikipedia page from a boxing scene article. I may well have missed it but I couldn’t see anything English amateur boxing records site.

I think he’s already tried to bulk up - if he does much more then he’ll be slower than he was in his last fight.
