so spence is feeling too heavy for welter, come on Pacquiao :bag:

regarding spence - crawford, it's just a big disservice to both their legacies if it doesn't happen while they are both prime, no point discussing the finances, that's their business.

Never understood this fascination with Crawford.

Avoided a meaningful fight for years and only talks $10million+ paychecks. Miserable git.

As for Spence, well he's come back from a personal hell and still keeps fighting regularly.

Let's not forget those photos.

He knows he screwed up but this man has a lot of courage.

it makes me sick for example that ppl actually are calling on fights like charlo vs mung or andrade

I don't think he said that, it seems like more of a case of after he beats Pac if he can't get Crawford he's essentially cleaned the division, and there's no need waiting around for a guy that just won't fight you.

If Crawford fights a 140 pounder like it looks like he will, (Zepada) and re-signs with top rank, his career might as well be over, and will never make it to the HOF.

To me its BS he couldn't have fought a top guy like Porter, Thurman, Garcia, or Ennis. WTF is he thinking? They can make fights if they really want them.

Crawford vs Zepada is a decent fight, But Its just not a welterweight. Zepada is basically undefeated, i know he has 2 losses but one is from him dislocating his shoulder in round 2 and there is a decent argument that he beat Ramirez when they fought. Id rather toprank give Zeppada to josh taylor seeing as they are both 140s.

If Crawford's next outing isn't officially announced by the middle of next month, then we may as well assume he'll be engaged in another mismatch, either against a 140lb-er, or a past-their-prime has-been or against an anonymous, unheralded, unaccomplished, and unproven broderline fringe contender.

Thurman said he'd fight him if Arum is out of the picture, so thats not happening next. Maybe in December unless Crawford is stupid and re-signs with TR.

Bob Arum confirmed that Crawford’s next outing is scheduled for the 23rd October.

Another 1 fight year then. Geeze it better be an actually good, actual welter. Crawford true prime is running out and has been a disgusting waste so far.

Even if it's Josh Taylor that would be acceptable. Josh Taylor or anything less than a top Welterweight contender though, and the criticism for Crawford just continues and intensifies.
