I liked the film, but he came across as unstable, dangerous and a liar whenever I saw footage of the real life him.coneye wrote: ↑28 Jun 2021, 11:45I met him a few times ,,we certainly were not freinds , Hence why i did'nt want the ticket ,, and your correct I did'nt like him, he just was'nt the sort of person i would associate with ,,Cyclops wrote: ↑28 Jun 2021, 05:27I thought you'd written once that you'd spent a bit of time around Chopper Reid and didn't like him? I'm not much of a fan of John Fury either and certainly wouldn't be interested in an evening listening to him.

I'd rather watch a video of my mother being eaten alive by a pride of lions.
Re: The Truth Tour: An Evening with John Fury
Same here the film was great, but that was Eric Bana at his best, in real life if you had brains you knew you were in the company of a nutcase,,, Ditto onn Fury cant see why anyone would pay to listen to him talkCyclops wrote: ↑28 Jun 2021, 13:24I liked the film, but he came across as unstable, dangerous and a liar whenever I saw footage of the real life him.

Will there be a game amongst the viewers where they have to down a shot every time he starts a sentence with ‘listen!’
Everyone will be Donald ducked by the end of the night if so.

A yard of ale on the line should there be a mention of Shepton mallet.

No but that’s because none are near to me.
If I still lived in St Helens then I almost certainly would have tried to get tickets. I’ve missed live sport/going out to see shows so if something like this was only a couple of miles away and the tickets weren’t stupid then I’d have tried to go.

What’s he going to talk about for the whole evening ? He only had about 5 fights and lost most of them.

Surely he'll have a go at whoever, for his lad not fighting Joshua.
An old scouse mucker tried to rope me in for a Runcorn gig. He reckons the comedian/impersonator
warm up is brilliant. Nah, £40 and not even a 'one course meal'
like they're getting at other gigs.
