At least better than Seferi.

Update. Teper replaced for Michael Wallisch.

Easy win for Gassiev. Hope they have the next fight or two planned before the end of the year as his inactivity is ruining his career.

He could fight the next day after Seferi, still it took more that a half of the year to make another mismatch. Something is wrong with his team. He has the potential to shake the division. I don't see him becoming a champ, but it's definitely possible for him to ice some whyte.

He could of fought a seferi level guy 15 times a day every day for a year. If there was an unlimmited supply of people at that levle then Gassiev could go 5000-0 in a calendar year. I dont even think thats an exaggeration.

Good thing is, he's 27..

His CW career he was young. All fights before 25 years old..

For 27 years old, he's a young HW still.. Just needs to get active!

Just a year younger than Kabayel, and two years younger than Dychko both of whom have also stalled in their development. Hopefully he doesn't join the both of them as a stagnated, once-young prospect.

Gassiev engages in only one bout in three years, which was a first round KO mismatch against a cruiserweight.

Teper has only won two fights in more than three years, with his opponents having a total combined record of four wins during the course of 34 bouts.

I wish they both connect to the jaw at the same time and knock each other out, because their resumes over the last three years are an utter disgrace!

I really don't care who wins.

Both men should be ashamed of themselves for their inactivity and mismatches.

That would be a fight I'd love to see, preferably after Gassiev has one or perhaps two step ups after Teper, you know, maybe against an active fighter, maybe one who has some relevance in the heavyweight division (Maybe Christian Hammer as a starting point or Sergei Kuzmin or Andrei Fedosov even)

Hopefully that wouldn't mean he's five years away from a Whyte fight

Anyone who thinks PEDs are of minor importance should remember what a force Teper was a few years ago when he was running through mid-level guys like they were nothing.

Now he's just fodder for anyone looking to move up.

Teper replaced for Michael Wallisch. What a great roll of meat for Gassiev.

Tricky to guess what Gassiev will do here. On the one hand he needs some rounds, so might carry it a bit. On the other hand everyone has stopped wallisch quite early, nice to stop him as early or earlier.

wallisch has turned into a flopper when he's brought in as the opponent, even if gassiev tries to carry him, i bet he'll go down pretty quickly.

Wallisch is just target practice. The kindest thing I can say about Wallisch is that he's a step up from Nuri Seferi. At this rate Gassiev should be in a meaningful fight (at heavyweight) early in 2028.

For must be a couple of years I was wondering and waiting for the clash between the two unbeaten heavyweights for the German heavyweight title between champion Michael Wallisch and prospective challenger Tom Schwarz.

I was very interested to see it and I'm not even German, so I thought this would certainly appeal to the locals.

Here we are four or five years on and the fight never happened, and now they are both regarded as cannon-fodder for anyone who can fight. The moment is well and truly past. Shame.

To be fair, Schwarz has only lost once (v Fury), racked up a couple of wins and is still only in his mid 20s.

It was more the manner of the loss. He was totally and utterly outclassed and destroyed by Fury, contrasting very badly with Fury's next opponent, Wallin who got lucky with the cut, but who also showed tremendous heart, resilience and no small degree of ability. The stark contrast between the two 'inter-Wilder' opponents made Schwarz's performance appear even more abject.

as long as they show heart and fight back a bit, and those german baes can do it, he'll cave in
