I know BT have matching rights and Fury’s a big name so may not need as much as hype as other PPV fights but it’s a bit of a joke nothing’s been announced yet and it’s not getting pushed by any U.K. TV network. I do wonder what FW actually does to earn his commission at times.

I wonder if Sky will go hard for it. Won’t be a good look for BT Sport to lose it particularly with all of the rumours that BT are looking to get rid of their Sport platform.
BT & also Sky are most probably still furious that the AJ fight isn’t happening, and they are looking at the projected sales figures for a £25 PPV for this unnecessary rematch and thinking fcuk this...

I think BT will probably still get it, but if it isn’t announced by a Saturday at the latest, were probably looking at Fite Tv or something.

It's the biggest fight of the year thus far, Sky BT or Dazn would want it. But BT likely have it.

None of the 3 above have much of note for UK boxing until Usyk Joshua on Sky in September

DAZN aren’t going to be in the running in reality. There are probably examples when this hasn’t been the case, but they only show their own fights, and for the money that Arum will want they probably don’t even have the budget for it.

It might be the biggest fight of the year so far, but I don’t think BT or Sky are going to be overly happy about forking out to buy a fight, which is probably not going to be that profitable, if at all, especially in the current financial market.

I think BT have a right to match any offers for a Fury fight - I don’t honk they are obliged to show it though, but this could be incorrect.

I see IFL are interviewing Warren tomorrow, so this should be interesting.

Fury Wilder II done big numbers in US PPV. Not sure in UK what it it was I assume as decent as you will get on BT Box office @4am.

If you're right about BT only having a match offer deal, then Sky with their Arum deal could get involved ?

Sky Sports still give Fury plenty of coverage for someone not on their platform. Would make sense to try for it. I still assume a BT deal in place though

I'm assuming due to BT or Sky putting on it PPV and not regular, thing are worked out differently?

They still have to purchase rights for the fight slap it on PPV and hope they at least make their money back?

Yep - BT have matching rights. Even still, it should be getting promoted by the end channel by now.

I bet it’s Umar interviewing Warren - he gives him such an easy time it’s embarrassing. I’d much rather Rob Tebbutt was interviewing him and asked proper questions rather than just stroking his ego.

B/Nation pisses over anything BT have done, they've been pretty sub par considering the financial clout they've got, cant remember the number of shows Warren was meant to be putting on but its barely 15 a year

As mentioned above, one of the biggest fights of the year and still no tv deal, amatuer hour as per

Every single meaningful fight on Saturday’s BT card is 33/1-on and if the Yarde fight goes ahead, that’s 100/1-on.
I love boxing and have BT Sports but I won’t watch this.

I assumed the Joyce fight was going to be an infomercial for the PPV with them maybe putting the undercard on YouTube or something to drive interest. BT coverage for the last 2 fights were first class TBF.

I think BT will probably end up ponying up the dosh.

Which goon voted for Deontay Wilder to come out southpaw and dance circles around Fury for a points decision?

i know someone who is convinced he should come out on the back foot and look for left hook counter shots, and ignore the right hand

Then why doesn’t he come out like a prime Mayweather with the shoulder roll, hardly throwing, and throwing the odd right cheque-hook and textbook left than right over the top.

Btw, if he did that then he’d die.
He needs to come out and keep trying to set that right hand up and hope he gets lucky and lands.

You may have missed Josh and Jose?
This unnecessary trilogy match for one belt after Fury winning the first two is definitely not the eagerly anticipated AJ vs Fury either.

It wasn't even shown on British television, and the belts are so devalued now they are not as relevant. Even Boxing News are sacking off recognising these belts as champions.

That said doing the 4 and becoming undisputed is a fantastic achievement so congrats to Josh, hope he gets more recognition in future.

I loved it too mate in its prime it was brilliant. I dont think I'm able to sit up like I used to though for American fights. I'll be up for this one, but can't hack the 4am to 5am fights anymore like I used to.

It's a shame they can't put on fights earlier for European audience. We get the shit end of the stick everytime, and low quality stuff now shown for our timezone.

I have a feeling Joyce would walk down and tire out Fury for a late stoppage, and do the same to Joshua. He’s got a Oliver McCall on form vibe about him. But Wilder is just a walk over job at this stage. But watch Fury avoid Joyce like the plague.
