I wonder if the fella who’s eye he gouged half out is going? Obviously he’ll need a seat near the front to see anything………….

John Fury is a man's man. Good role model for young lads without a father figure which is common these days.

The pennyboys giving him grief online wouldn't say boo to a goose in person. I wish John and Mr Egan success in their events.

Peter, I’d be intrigued to know how being a good role model fits in with being a self confessed “gangland enforcer” and rolling around a car park trying to thumb someone’s eye out in front of his son. Clearly I’m missing something.

That being said, you have every right to wish him well yourself if thats your thing, we’re all different I suppose

Did it? I thought Porky said it was from someone at BT Sport. Also, I heard Porky say that he got a copy of the Malpass fight from Holdsworth and sent it to Fury, but when he tried to buy another copy Holdsworth wouldn't sell him one unless he paid thousands.

Porky claimed that Fury had stopped Holdsworth from selling further copies of that fight.

Don't know why , that video is just one of many that show an overmatched boxer getting stopped ,,, Unless John suffers from Wilder like symptoms of greatness ,,,, Could understand if it was a video of some , ex pro boxer gypsy guy bashing a smaller fella , then holding him down while he gouged his eye out in front of his son .. Or even more so same guy crying at the sentence because he did'nt want to go to jail .

Oh yeah, great role model. Gauge an eye, something that a 13 year old girl would do. Real men know how to punch and take it to the cobbles toe to toe.

The grief is intense alright. But if he’s struggling with it, tell him to have a rusk.

When the videos came out on those stupid channels supporting Mickey Theo, I told them off. :TU:

Losing to Henry Akinwande is absolutely no disgrace considering Fury was basically a journeyman who was penciled into the British Empire tournament. Although I do think at one point Fury was rated in the top five in Great Britain.

If people don't think he is a tough man rewatch that contest and see how many bombs Fury took before getting knocked out. As for the Malpass loss, everybody forgets that Fury beat him the first time around and this rematch occurred when Fury unretired after 4 years inactivity.

And I would still bet my house and cars on Fury beating Mickey Theo in a fight. But it's not going to happen because Theo wouldn't keep his mouth shut when he had the opportunity, which derailed their exhibition fight to begin with, and he flat out refused to show up at the gym to have a boxing match with Fury. So big John is not going to deal with him anymore.

Rufus, how many cars do you have?

I recall a few years back when you were training yourself in the back garden doing a square dance with a big antique iron cooker getting in shape for your pro debut. And who could forget that big Atlas Stone you used to manhandle? Good times! You didn't have a single car then. You must be moving up in the world.

At that time that you are remembering (don't laugh) I had a 1986 Chevrolet Cavalier and sold it and got a 1996 Oldsmobile Bravada.
