Same. It’s a good 50/50 fight.NoScoutingReports wrote: ↑14 Jul 2021, 17:24Glad to see Maxi get a good opportunity on a DAZN show after his recent resurgence/run of form.maverick23 wrote: ↑14 Jul 2021, 09:28
Straffon vs Maxi Hughes - given how Straffon walked through Gervonta Tennyson I think this is a really good fight.

Hopefully Warrington can work his way back into contention for a Galahad rematch.digzee wrote: ↑14 Jul 2021, 17:19Do you think Eddie preferred an unknown Mexican vs a Brit in a non world title fight over a domestic world title fight with 2 boxers who dislike each other?Pugilist-specialist wrote: ↑24 Apr 2021, 11:06He could have got him in a world title fight against his mandatory.maverick23 wrote: ↑24 Apr 2021, 08:08
What do you think Eddie should do? Put Josh in an 8 rounder against a non puncher?

May be tricky given that Josh is with Matchroom/DAZN and Galahad is aligned with PBC.Pugilist-specialist wrote: ↑15 Jul 2021, 02:55Hopefully Warrington can work his way back into contention for a Galahad rematch.digzee wrote: ↑14 Jul 2021, 17:19Do you think Eddie preferred an unknown Mexican vs a Brit in a non world title fight over a domestic world title fight with 2 boxers who dislike each other?Pugilist-specialist wrote: ↑24 Apr 2021, 11:06

Not many people will want to see a rematch between the 2 of them either but I’m looking forward to the Kid/Dickens fight - if it’s half as good as their first one then it will be a good competitive fight. Lots of options for the winner but the Warrington/Kid rematch is the only one I’m not too bothered about.

Is Galahad still with PBC? I can't see Haymon helping Eddie and DAZN by giving them Galahad for fight camp.maverick23 wrote: ↑15 Jul 2021, 03:15May be tricky given that Josh is with Matchroom/DAZN and Galahad is aligned with PBC.Pugilist-specialist wrote: ↑15 Jul 2021, 02:55Hopefully Warrington can work his way back into contention for a Galahad rematch.

As for your post, clearly Josh isn't interested in fighting Galahad he's beat him already and wants the bigger names in the division.

My money is on Lara again, I guess this would have been a PPV on SKY

After his fight with Galahad he boxed Sofiane Takoucht (who is not in the World top 100) and then gave his belt up to fight an unknown Mexican.

Exactly. That's how attractive the Barry fight is. Those two were better!Pugilist-specialist wrote: ↑15 Jul 2021, 14:48After his fight with Galahad he boxed Sofiane Takoucht (who is not in the World top 100) and then gave his belt up to fight an unknown Mexican.

Better? Did the fights have bigger attendances or TV audience figures?mickey1975 wrote: ↑15 Jul 2021, 15:26Exactly. That's how attractive the Barry fight is. Did swerving his mandatory and quitting his belt work well for him?

The rematch will have a much bigger attendance.
I doubt Josh will go back down the ibf route no matter who wins it. If its Barry it would be a very hard sell and I don't think Josh would want to give him another payday.

Got my ticket today, i would say yes, ticket sales are going very well by the looks of it with the online booking. No Leeds United home game earlier in the day though, I'd have thought they'd want to tie it in.mickey1975 wrote: ↑16 Jul 2021, 05:17 The rematch will have a much bigger attendance.

They're probably not allowed. Bateson and Price added now, that'll be another 1,000+.JimJim2009 wrote: ↑31 Jul 2021, 13:34Got my ticket today, i would say yes, ticket sales are going very well by the looks of it with the online booking. Warrington should sprint like a madman or Lara takes him out again.

I’m going to go to this with my wife.
Bought the cheap seats in the south stand.
Never been to Headingley before.
Anyone tell me what to expect?

Ebanie Bridges added to the card. I might actually un-invite my wife and take some johnnies on the off chance she’s got a thing for ugly, Bolton bastards.
She does support Leeds so she’s got a bit of filth in her.

If Josh loses this he’ll be begging Barry for a fight. An over the hill former champ who’s lost his last 2 fights doesn’t have the same pulling power.mickey1975 wrote: ↑16 Jul 2021, 05:17 The rematch will have a much bigger attendance.

Really good show this. I’m looking forward to it and expect Matchroom will be ramping up their promotion for this one.
I enjoyed all of the 3 Fight Camp shows but timing wise it couldn’t have been much worse with them clashing with the Olympics and then start of the Premier League season.
