In the headliner of this Maravilla Box promotion Angel Moreno (21-4-2) and Juan Hinostroza (10-9-1) clash for the vacant EBU flyweight title.

Had no idea he was back fighting. He’s been more active than Rose by the looks of it. Sad to see. These ill advised comebacks rarely end well.

That’s a good promoter.
You think if Eddie was fighting Higgins in an exhibition, he’d have that shit closing the event.
Re: Brian Rose vs. Sergio Martinez - 18 September 2021
Is this a proper fight or exhibition?

Brian Rose Pumped: Sergio Martinez Fight is Amazing Opportunity
Former British champion Brian Rose, 36, is very motivated a head of a scheduled showdown with former two-division world champion Sergio Martinez, on September 18 over 10 rounds in Madrid.
Martinez, 46-years-old, made his return to the sport in August of last year. It was his first fight since retiring in 2014 due to injuries with his knees.
The veteran picked up a knockout win - and then had a quick turnaround when he came back in December to pick up a TKO win.
Rose returned to the ring in March, in his first fight in 18 months, to decision Clavero Lopez over six rounds in Barcelona. The victory allowed him to bounce back from a ten round decision loss to Anthony Fowler.
When Rose was presented the opportunity to face Martinez - he jumped on the offer.
Rose is hoping that a win over Martinez will lead to much bigger things in the future.
“We’ve been offered an amazing opportunity and I’m really looking forward to it. There’s not a title at stake but it’s a chance to beat a fighter who was the best in the world. Hopefully we can arrange a flight to Spain this time. We drove to Barcelona and I’d do that again to get the fight," Rose told the Black Pool Gazette.
“I’m becoming a bit of a Spanish citizen and I don’t think it’s a fight anyone expected. They were expecting Scott Fitzgerald (from Preston) and we’ve tried and tried to get that fight on, but I can’t wait around. I’m always ticking over but I went into camp this week, which meant moving out of the family home.”
