Freezey MacBones - the British Mike Tyson ???

Post by high tower 1 »

Anyone seen him in action ? He’s an amateur out of SE London starting to get hype on social media as the next iron Mike.

Clip above of him tanking a sparring partner.

For me he’ll be an entertaining watch. Will likely scalp a few decent level people but can see him getting out boxed at Brit level.

Interested to hear any thoughts on him and his skills from anyone who’s seen him in action.

31-year-old with six amateur losses starches bodybuilder type for social media likes.

That is the only story here. Time to move on... :TU:

Yeah it was something like a 17-6 novice record, and presumably hasn't improved in Covid times. I didn't realise he was so old. Probably on loads of gear too. Clearly going nowhere fast.

Doesn't seem anything special. Very wide stance but 31 his time has gone to make an impact on a title.

Think he’s a senior in the amateurs though hasn’t been around that long.

His attitude seems terrible. Posing over opponents he’s kod. And if he is on gear then that’s worrying considering he’s up against area level amateurs.

You’ll be hearing more of him the future though. Even sky had him on, he can talk.

Considering Chris Sr was holding his own against Mark Breland when he was 17 I highly doubt that somehow mate.

That’s an understatement.

That’s what Mike Tyson looked like at age 12.

I assume that is not his real name?

It reminds of a story about the wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin. He was trying to come up with a name for his character and WWE had given him a list of names based on a cold-blooded character. Fang McFrost, Ice Dagger etc. Freezey Macbones sounds like it could have been on that list.

He was clearly looking for an Instagram moment with that left-hook which he got.

I was going to say this.

Frosty McFreeze was the final one that the WWE office sent for Steve. Belter.

It's his real surname, he is from Ghana so being 'teak tough' with punching power is a good combination.

He got called Freezy as he likes to keep his opponents cool with his wild missing swings.
