Looking back over that time it hasn't been good value for money, even though the monthly subscription is fairly low, the actual boxing content is pitiful.
I'm not interested in a show about boxing, I want boxing.
And there just isn't enough of it.
I don't care about meaningless titles, or prospect vs journeymen- that does not deserve to be broadcast, or overpaid big mouth tossers avoiding the real challenges.
So I gave it 4 months and cancelled last week.
Get this- DAZN said I could have the remainder of the month before my subscription expired. So I checked the schedule - not one single fight for the remaining 3 weeks
No wonder I quit.
Honestly, DAZN has been shit so far, but still not bad value. ever those 4 months whats the toatal pay out? 10 bucks all up? thats not bad for a Canelo fight on its own then you got the ramerez card, martinez card, haney vs linares, Parker vs chisora (might not of got that in NZ)... and a few nothing cards.

Pretty good for a 10 bucker in a transition period with boxing in a terrible state over the last 4 months. Eddie and golden oy have to start putting on some decent shows soon, surely.

Just not enough content of actual boxing. The only fight I watched live was Canelo. The others you mentioned were fine, but I watched them a day later and could have found them for free.
The English fight camp was not available for NZ and Oz customers so the "help" desk informed me, thought : screw you then..

No fight camp for aus, fornicate, ok I’m on your side now, that’s scum. I still back the value so far so won’t un sub, but that really pissed me off. For my like 10 bucks iv watched canelo, Parker, Martinez remerez and mabey Haney (don’t remember) so I’m still happy with the value but disappointed with the output. I’d rather pay more a month and get more content.
Why the fornicate would they not give us fight camp? What platforms that going to be on here if any? Undercuts eddies claim of a global platform.

It galls me that an Internet provider can't stream all it's events for everyone. And yes, when the lady said no fight camp for AuNZ customers I cancelled on the spot.
Maybe they will change it. I didn't kick up a fuss, it's not a Kiwi thing...

I’ll slide into eddies DMs and call him a knob. That’s about the extent of my furious backlash. Absolutely insane for a streamer trying to be global not to stream globally.

I’d be surprised if there’s no Fight Camp in Aus/NZ. It makes zero sense why it wouldn’t be available there as it’s not like it’s much more additional cost to do it.

The Parker fight in NZ was a late addition to the U.K. lineup so they may get added to the schedule closer to the day of the fight.

Re: their shows, I enjoyed the 2 shows over the last few weeks. The Martinez card had some really good fights as did the Golden Boy card last week.

Also they’ve got Ebanie Bridges fighting in a few weeks on Fight Camp. She’d drive some viewers in Aus so may as well have it available.

Almost as galling has been the Sky content recently. In years gone by when a football tournament dominated and Sky didn’t have any coverage they made sure they slotted in a couple of shows, a prizefighter at one point, to remind you why you were subscribing.
Nothing for weeks worth watching on Sky Sports if your predominantly a Boxing/Football subscriber..

It’s not listed and one of eddies September cards is, so seems weird. Bridges is Australian, Connor Ben has a definite Australia connection, and all you have to do is click one button to allow it on aus dazn… Sure those shows are early in the morning, but not stupid early, us aus folk get main events like 8am ish, even more civilised hours for the kiwis.

Think its a period of transition, Fight Camp kicks off in a fortnight and Ed reckons matchroom will have shows on every week until Christmas, Golden Boy have been putting on great shows as well
