Coetzee would kayo Braddock early on with his right hand.

At his best, I would pick Braddock. He had a great chin, which made it unlikely that Coetzee would knock him out. He had some boxing ability and was very tough. He would win likely a decision if he was at his best. However, much of his career he was inconsistent; on balance I would pick Coetzee by decision.

I think Coetzee would win a decision. Likely something around 7-5 in rounds. They would probably both score knockdowns in seperate rounds. Coetzee early on,probably 2nd or 3rd round, while Braddock would sit Coetzee down in the 7th. Coetzee would seem tired by around the 9th round, but then get a 2nd wind, and rally to win the 11th and 12th for the decision victory.

Either Coetzee used his powerful jabs and "Bionic" right hands to take a decision or late round knockout win.
