It's ridiculous that anyone could put tank ahead of Taylor in the 140 devision. BoxRec p4p is as far out there as anything I have ever seen, even the LDBC have a more recognisable p4p or am I missing something.

I might agree with him carrying that kind of status if he had beaten Lomachenko while at the lower weight, but I think he never did that because there seems to be an issue with his conditioning when he doesn't score an early knockout. And he will be forced to go the distance more as he faces bigger and better opposition.

Boxrec's Rankings mean NOTHING. Make a note of it. Stick it on your computer, and never bother taking them seriously again.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over rankings or anything like that.
Josh has what, eighteen fights now.
He's just getting started on the big world scene, but he is 30 and wants to get a move on right.
At this point Josh Taylor has a number of things going for him, he's unbeaten with all the straps and is coming off one of the best fights of the year.
His opposition has been decent and as a boxer brings a solid all round style and can crack a bit.
I'd imagine many of boxing's high rollers, Gervonta Davis included, will be taking a close look at him.

If there’s one ranking I don’t take seriously at all. It’s 100% BoxRec.

Points based system. nothing wrong with it, but just no need to take it seriously.

People post them on Facebook..

Davis avoided him, pure and simple.
No way do they match Taylor and Davis.
Casuals will/have already swallowed Davis being a 3 weight champion if they say it often enough, heck I might even believe it
