Because Wilder is a better win for Fury than Parker was for AJ. I think Wilder still sparks Parker. No one says Wilder's record is impressive.
I asked why is Wilder a better win, what makes him clearly a better win?
Thought I was clear. Beating wilder is a better win than beating Parker because Wilder beats Parker. Please don't tell me that you strictly go by resume. That's not THE determining factor. Not even sure if Parker has a better resume than Wilder.
Hahaha I hope that's your true opinion because that's a classic

Resume is the most important factor we've got to go with here because they haven't fought, your imgainey fight doesn't count.

Wilder has never beat anyone as good as Parker. His best win is Ortiz who was past his best and nearly had a heart attack in the dressing room just before the fight, and even that version nearly knocked out Wilder, plus Ortiz hasn't beat anyone. If old Ortiz gives Wilder a life and death fight a prime Parker can do the same and more.

Jeez how did I forget that one! Good call.
Mike Tyson did it too. Biggs; Tillman; Spinks.
Ali beat patterson who also was a gold medalist. So not too unique. I'm sure there are more.
If it's not so unique can you name 5 more?

Jeez there's a question. Can't imagine anyone has. Definitely not at heavyweight anyway. You then factor in that AJ is a gold medalist himself.
Yep, besides Ali and possibly AJ in a couple of months time I don't think anyone else has done it.

Very unique.

Without wanting to come over all Alan Partridge, it is either unique or it isn’t. Can’t be a bit unique , a little but unique or somewhat unique.

Doesn’t matter if 200 people have done it or 2. If more than one then it’s not unique.

Resume is a fine comparison, but not the be all end all unless you don't actually watch fights but merely peruse the record books. Back to the topic. I said Wilder is a better win for Fury than any AJ single win. Margaret Thatcher brought a good argument for Wlad, which I can't argue against too much. Your post is just plain trolling.

I am not dissing AJ's resume at all - it is an excellent resume. But I do always have a little giggle when people mention Ruiz in the list - Using a Bunce term - "lets get it right" Ruiz was not in the top 10 at the time of the fight, so only made the top 10 through his win over Joshua and has done bugger all since.

Whilst the Hasim Rahman win for Lewis will be considered a good win considering what happened (as will Ruiz win) but it will not go down as one of his hardest opponents he has faced - although Rahman did actually forge a half decent career post Lewis and won a version of the world title.

What you've got to understand is I've done a mythical head to head and Ruiz beat Wilder, Whyte and Povetkin so that makes Ruiz a great win.

When you are doing a ranking, which this is, resume is the most important factor.

I didn't even bring Wlad in to it because that was too obvious and you had already admitted you were wrong.

Not having a go, but you honestly thought Ruiz would be Wilder, Whyte and Povetkin PRIOR to the Joshua 1 fight or AFTER the Joshua 1 fight. As I set not having a go, but I just don't see what Ruiz had achieved prior to the Joshua fight to have that view. Ran Parker close? So did Hughie Fury.

Paul Gonzales and Jerry Page no great shakes at that Olympics either. Very biased towards US predictably. Many think Damiani beat Biggs and DeWitt beat Tillman too.

That shot at 50 seconds is something else.

Only Usyk could pull that off.

The opening phrase of the trailer sounds silly, a hype job for casual fans. If not Fury-Wilder legal case, the Fury-Joshua would happen without any vacating.

At 50 secs it’s Joshua hitting Povetkin? Do you mean the Usyk Chisora shot marginally before?

51 seconds.

Usyk looking like a character from Star Wars staring at AJ from the crowd.

Yeah that’s a good look. I thought you meant ‘shot’ as in punch so was confused lol
