Jaron Ennis chances against elite now

How would Boots Ennis do against Spence and Crawford, what do you think ?

From what I’ve seen of him, he’s got as good a chance as anyone at the moment. It’s a step up from his current level but I’ve got a feeling that he’s up to it. I’d certainly like to see him given a chance.

Jaron 'Boots' Ennis is my personal favourite prospect.

However, his best win came against a borderline fringe top-ten world-rated contender. So he’s still regarded as unproven talent.

He needs to score a comfortable victory over the likes of Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, Yordenis Ugas or Danny Garcia, before I’d consider pitting him against Terence Crawford or Errol Spence Jr.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting that Jaron 'Boots' Ennis is incapable of beating those guys in the long-term, it’s just that he’s not quite ready to face them yet.

I'd like Ennis to score a couple of victories over the likes of the aforementioned names, before facing Crawford or Spence Jr. towards the end of next year.

agree, garcia is the type of fight i'd like for him

ambitious and interesting, but still within reason given how good i think boots is, and of course both being pbc and from philly

The kid is the future of the division. His skills are mighty. I think he would upset Errol and lose a very fun fight with Crawford. Not sure about whether he has the kind of chin to bang with Bud or not.

Anyone else at welter he beats right now.

Spence made a comment that he could beat Porter if he boxed him, but needs his chin tested. Maybe they've sparred?

Be nice to see him get a shot at Ugas's belt. Ugas will fight anyone I think.

he is the elite i fancy him against anyone, though he is young age is on his side , he looks like wrecking ball with panache
