Thomas Hearns vs Roy Jones Jr

Jones was fast and slick but I think that unorthodox style wouldn't help against Hearns. When Hearns was on, he was on.
I think he would figure Jones out and keep him outside and win a decision.

The great Roy Jones, Jr could win this fight if he pressures the The Motor City Cobra. It has to be constant pressure. Can he do it? I don't think so. He ain't outboxing Tommy in no shape or form. Tommy's jab would be a nightmare for him. And that right cross from Tommy is lethal. Too lethal. It would not be a nightmare, but a reality.

Prime Hearns couldn't be outboxed by anybody, even by Leonard. However, it wasn't his best version at the SMW. In any case, he could be hit and had a pretty weak chin, while Jones was hard-hitting and extremely fast.

Jones by KO.

Jones beats him, I wouldn't be surprised to see it go the distance though.

Hearns was one of my favorite fighters of all-time, but Jones would get the better of the Hitman with great jabs of his own along with greater hand speed and combinations to out-box Hearns for a decision win in 15 rounds.

175 was not his best weight class. He was inconsistent by that time. Still at times, he looked pretty good; other times not so much.
Jones had lost some of his power at 175. It is doubtful that he would stop Hearns. His hand speed would probably be enough to win a decision. However, this would not be an easy fight. Not sure he would have even taken it.

Jones mid stoppage behind on the cards. Lol, Elmer doesn't even seem to know these fighters.

What do you mean? I said Tommy Hearns would win, not Roy Jones, Jr.

this one is proposed as being 168 not 175
