because theyre beating dudes who are professional losers and lose like 99 percent of their fights, beating an actual live opponent means far more than a stoppage over a journeyman.....you have to actually see how they are on the defensive, when they have to dig in and work hard, how they take a shot etc
but mags boxing aint a sport though its a business sorry professional boxing
ya, that doesnt make beating up a journeyman impressive though
of course not but noakes aint nothing either he has only had 6 fights he dont deserve any respect yet

A prime Irish Big Joe Joyce vs Putney’s Big Joe Joyce, bareknuckle, in a muddy field is a mouthwatering prospect.

LOL. I just can’t stand the C u n t. Opinionated. Rude. Full of self importance. I’m sure I read some weird story on a forum about him and some African hookers. Sound a right piece of work.
Whoever first made that story up must absolutely love it that it still has legs all these years later. Pops up on here every couple of years. Never borrow a pen off Buncey if you see him at a show.

I don’t know pal - I thought the Jenkins fight was fairly close up the stoppage. Wasn’t a particularly good fight mind

I upgrade my nightmare team as follows:

Lead commentator: Adam Smith
Secondary Commentator: Boxercise Ben Davison
Interviewer: Stunning Steve Bunce.

Trust me.
I miss Teddy Atlas going on a rant about judging or weak opponent selection. I don't miss anything else about him, but I feel your team is missing that particular "don't give a toss" about promoters, judges, sanctioning bodies, referees, managers, and broadcasters tyoe rants.
Good point. Atlas is dreadful, truly cringe as well. He can be used as a colour commentator lol
 it's been a few years, and we forget how cringy he was/is.
The odd time he had the balls to go off at the judges- in person, in their face, on air, was legendary. The rest made my skin crawl. If I had a basement, I would concrete it in, rather than risk "water in the basement"
