The fact is that being racist is just abhorrent. Look, I'm white and certain things get said amongst white people that just shouldn't be said really. I'm lucky to have had friends of all ethnic backgrounds growing up so a racist insult against them was seen as an insult against me. When you grow up and your best mates have been Asian or black then when someone uses a racial slur casually there is no quarter given and they get told where to go and this is what is becoming the norm and I think its a great thing.I remember walking into a bar with my Asian mate when we were younger and overhearing the c word. I was thrown out of the bar for how I reacted but nowadays the perpetrators would be thrown out and that's a good thing. Donnelly is a disgrace in my opinion for his comment and its going to take a long time before I'd forgive it.

This is gonna sound controversial but I don't get as offended or bothered as much as many by racist comments. I'm mixed myself (light). The media seem to love to stir a race war and hate everyone for making an off colour comment (deliberate :-)) Some love Island bellend was crucified for posting 'my nigga' on old twitter post, when he's clearly not being hateful, he's just copying a hip hop / ebonics phrase.

Joshua saying that stuff is a bit controversial but more so because he's painted as perfect by media and they didn't go after him which is hypocritical. That's the only thing that bugged me. Joshua can say what he likes as long as it's not 'go and kill all white / Asian people now' I don't care, he's entitled to express his opinion. The thing that bothered me about Joshua is the silver spoon he's been fed with and more than that his alleged, but almost definite PED usage.

I kind of got the Tyan Booth attitude of if someone pisses you off you always find the most easy and insulting comeback. Plenty of decent people make a bad choice of words, they don't need their life ruined for it.
