Who was the better technician between the two?
Who had the most grit, heart and determination?
I know Donald Curry, The Lone Star Cobra, was faster, but he didn't had Carlos Palomino's chin.
I will pick Palomino by UD in 15 rounds.

Re: Welterweights: Donald Curry vs Carlos Palomino
This would be a classic blood , guts , and glory type of scrap. Great match-up i think. Reminiscent of Hamsho-Minter,to me, for some unclear unknown reason, but definitely a legit dream match scrap.
I'd favor Palomino, because of his sheer toughness and iron will, and jaw of course.
I think that he had the skillset and toughness.
Palomino by a Clear cut decision victory.
He may get decked, like he did vs Duran, but for no more than a 2 count(Flash knockdown).
After that possible scenario, I see Carlos getting tougher instead of folding. He didn't give up on himself from what I've observed.
