Sick of these British stoppages. A few unanswered punches from the home fighter and the ref stops it. Takam being the latest
Imagine some of the fights we would have been been robbed of had a Britiah stoppage been applied.
Holy field v Bowe, Gatti v Ward, Corralled, Hagler v Mugabi, pretty much ever Saad Muhammed fight.
Great fights we would have been denied by a British Stoppage

you and I have different of a "few". Takem was rocked for about 40 shots. Threw 4 just nothing shots in the middle, but then got hit by about 12 of the last 15 shots without even looking to throw back, zero head movment and unsteady legs. Cant be copping that many unanswered at any weight but especialy not heavyweight.
If standing 8 counts existed thats the perfet time. but they dont.
Also, is it a brittish stoppage? i cant think of someone taking more unanswered undefended shots recently anywhere else in the world...
Takem vs AJ was a bad stoppage, but this one was fine.

Had Rod Douglas or Gerald McClellan been stopped sooner though... Or Eubank been stopped v Watson, Benn been stopped v McClellan etc
