Ryan Doyle by your definition is a higher level to Reece mould based on who he fought and beat.maley1984 wrote: ↑10 Jul 2021, 08:34Offthehook wrote: ↑10 Jul 2021, 05:25
At the time? Jazza fought him 2 fights ago…from domestic class to world title legit challenger in a single fight?!?
His best win was the Irish kid not Ryan Doyle
I didnt say doyle was his best win. If it was thats English title level. The irish kid looked ok but has dropped down in weight since and he as been stopped twice since. Good luck to wood I hope he wins but his record puts him at domestic level at the moment no wins their prove his above it. As for dickens by winning minor titles with ibf and wbo is to why his got high in the rankings to gain a shot. Wood hasn't even defended his british title thats the difference
Jazza dickens has fought and beaten more quality guys than can xu has, who is a world champion.
The level you belong at to me is the performances against quality opposition more than wins. I’m not too concerned with what minor titles jazza has picked up he’s fought good men. He didn’t win a bauble and claim it was a legit title like Archie sharp,
Who has fought absolute binmen, and carried that bs title like it means something. Woodstock beat a journeyman for that title, says everything.
Anyway we will see after the fight who belongs at what level and where, fact is if Leigh is domestic he will get shut out or stopped, anything beyond one sided suggests he’s above domestic.
Check your facts. Joyce was also stopped by lee haskins after he fought wood. As for doyle his a tough night at domestic level I never said it was a better win I said wood won a vacant title against English champ. Doyle has mixed in decent company but then loses /draw. (Tough lad who in good fights but the wrong end of the result at that level nothing wrong in that. )
I also think we don't really know what level Leigh is at or what level he can go to as his only boxed at domestic level. I hope he wins and brings some big fights back to the midlands.
