They also make sure he has a huge size advantage. Woodley is basically a small super middleweight - he probably could make 160lbs if he laid of the weights whereas Paul I think would struggle to make lightheavy.
So you have a middleweight vs a cruiserweight.
I still hope Woodley finds a way to win but most likely Paul finishes him at some point.

Woodly would step into the ring during his UFC carrer at about 195ish. That makes him heavier than every boxing 168, and as far as i know every boxing 175. There is a fair chance he will outweigh paul on fight night (although he shouldent, losing a bit of mucel in favor of cardio will do him well).black panther wrote: ↑04 Jul 2021, 03:10 They also make sure he has a huge size advantage. Paul will be 3 or 4 inches taller, and have a 2 inch reach advantage. but there arnt height classes, or reach classes, there are weight classes. so their size is completely fair. problem is woodly isnt a good boxer...

If Paul manages to win this fight - which I believe he will not do - I hope with everything in me that he calls our McGregor while basking in his delusion of grandeur. I will absolutely show up to that presser draped in an Irish flag (I’m not Irish btw) and buy the best ticket I can to watch Notorious put an untimely end to this madness.

At Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse
“I grew up going to Cavs, Browns and Indians games on weekends, dreaming as a little kid of one day being in a position to put on a show for my hometown like they did,” Paul said. “On August 29, that dream comes true. My biggest challenge to date, in front of the city that made me, on pay-per-view for the world to see me knock out a UFC champion.”
“I’m also thrilled to have Amanda Serrano on this card,” said Paul, whose company, Most Valuable Promotions, will co-produce its first live sporting event. “She stands out as the most prolific KO artist in women’s boxing. What a night this is going to be!”

Charles Conwell, Montana Love To Appear In Separate Bouts On Paul-Woodley Undercard
A homecoming appearance for one of the sport’s most notable influencers will include additional local flavor.
Cleveland natives Charles Conwell and Montana Love will appear in separate undercard slots in support of Jake Paul’s upcoming clash with former UFC champion Tyron Woodley. The placement of both prospects on the show were revealed during a press conference held Thursday morning at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, home of the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers and the hosting venue for the August 29 Showtime Pay-Per-View event.
Conwell (15-0, 11 KOs) fights for the third time in his home state, and his first since December 2018. The 2016 U.S. Olympian has emerged as one of the sport’s hottest prospects and a threat in the red-hot junior middleweight division.
The opportunity for the 23-year-old comes after fallouts from two previously scheduled bouts. Conwell was due to appear on a Ring City USA show this past April before suffering a hand injury in having to withdraw. He was then due to serve in supporting capacity of the planned June 19 Triller Pay-Per-View which was scrapped when its headliner, lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez Jr. (16-0, 12 KOs) tested positive for COVID-19 and had to withdraw from his title defense versus George Kambosos Jr. (19-0, 10 KOs).
Conwell was able to land a stay-busy fight, outpointing Silverio Ortiz on a June 26 show in Ashland, Kentucky.
Love (15-0-1, 7 KOs)—a current junior welterweight prospect—fights in his hometown for the first time since 2019. That homecoming appearance came one year after his hard-fought eight-round draw with Kenneth Sims Jr. on a July 2018 Shobox card. Four wins have followed for the 26-year-old southpaw, including his August 2019 return to Cleveland and—in his most recent start—a second-round knockout of unbeaten Olaide Fijabi on a June 5 show in Dubai.
Opponents for Conwell and Love were not announced at the time of Thursday’s press conference.
In the main event, Paul (3-0, 3 KOs) and Woodley (19-7-1, 7 KOs in MMA) collide in a scheduled eight-round bout at a catchweight of 190 pounds. The evening’s co-feature will pit record-setting seven-division titlist Amanda Serrano (40-1-1, 30 KOs) in the second defense her unified featherweight title reign versus Yamileth Mercado.

Tommy Fury and Daniel Dubois set for Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley undercard
Tommy Fury will make his American debut on the undercard of Jake Paul's upcoming bout with Tyron Woodley on August 29, Mirror Fighting understands.
The Love Island star, whose brother is world heavyweight champion Tyson, will face an American with professional fights in both MMA and boxing, in an eight-round contest.
Sources have indicated the bout will be the first of a two-fight deal Fury has signed with Showtime Boxing in the United States
The intention, Mirror Fighting understands, is for Fury to eventually face YouTube star Paul on the network.
Elsewhere on the card, sources have indicated that interim heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois will also compete for the first time outside of the UK.
The bout has yet to be confirmed, but it is understood he will face Trevor Bryan, the WBA regular world heavyweight champion who is signed to Don King.
An announcement on both fights is expected in the coming days, with Paul and his management both hinting as much on social media.
"Just got off an amazing call," Paul said in a tweet last night. "We finally signed and confirmed adding two massive fights to this card. August 29 will be the event of the year."
Fury said in a recent Instagram video that he was also expecting an announcement in the next week, and said that fans "won't be disappointed".
Paul's manager Nakisa Bidarian posted a cryptic message on Instagram from the account of his BAVAFA Sports management company saying, "Two more fights being announced next week."
"One of them will shock you," he added.
The event will take place at the RocketMortgage Fieldhouse in Paul's hometown of Cleveland, Ohio on Showtime pay-per-view in America.
Fury is 6-0, having recently defeated the unbeaten Jordan Grant, and will view this bout as an opportunity to boost his claim for a future fight with Paul.
Fury was rarely troubled as he won every round on the referee's scorecard and preserved his own unbeaten record against Grant last month and
But he was unable to add to his KO highlight reel despite Grant fighting for just the third time in the paid ranks.
Fury will likely be without his father John in his corner for the first time in his professional career as he is unable to enter the United States due to a visa issue.

What a joke this sport is becoming, Guys that aren't truly professional boxers making headlines on a site like this and others.
Exhibitions these days seem to have some merit though when you consider the unpredictable outcome, so there is that.

Jake Paul putting one of his sparing partners against fury. Have to admit Jake Paul is smart, get his boy paid, and get an honest assessment of if your ready to fight tommy from a guy that’s then being in with both.
Bonus if you don’t fight fury you just pay ya boy a bit to say “Jake Paul hit harder even with 16 oz gloves” and you go back to chasing Connor McGregor.
